- 簡易的な治具を製作して球体を作りました。材料は鋳鉄です。
正式な加工方法ではありませんがアイデアの種にしていただけたら幸いです。

I made a simple jig and made a sphere with a lathe.
It's not a formal processing method, but I hope you can use it as a seed for your ideas.

前半、海外のこれ系の動画でよくあるような何作ってんの？って思ったら、まさか球体にするための器具作るなんてｗ

球体作るって聞いて来たのに明らかに違うの作ってて、なんだこれ…と思ってたら専用にバイト作ってたのマジびびった…
こう言う加工技術憧れるわ…
加工技術力が半端なく！凄すぎる！
それと、治具を作ってしまう所も
最後に研磨して、ピカピカの球体を観て見たい
見入ってしまいました。タイトルから入ると球体がなかなか出てこなくて困惑するが、全てがつながって球体が生まれていく様は良くできた映画のようだった。敬服。

手動で半球部分を何個かに分割し
手動でサイズ送り 技術と根気のいる作業だ！ 凄い‼️

の職人は汎用機でほぼカンどころ
で製作してるのを見たことがある。
今回は治具から始めて
すごく丁寧に仕上げられてる。
バイトやエンドミルなども良い
ものを使われてて羨ましいです。

私は主にマシニングセンタですがたまに旋盤もやります。
計測の正しさが素晴らしいですね

職業訓練校で機械加工を学んでなまじ何をやっているか理解出来てしまうから思う。
「これいろいろ頭おかしいよ(褒め言葉)」
最初は真面目に「何やってるんだ？」って思ってたらまさかのこの加工の為のバイト作りから始まっていたという・・・
総じて気の遠くなる作業過ぎて脱帽です。
すごい精度！よく公開してくださいました。治具制作を含めて。
だけど見るだけでは真似できないだろうな！

約30年ぐらい前に職業訓練校でこんなのを作った記憶があります(クオリティーは桁違い)

懐かしくて思わず見てしまいました。うちの親父の作業場で学生たちが一生懸命に旋盤で作業していたのを思い出しました。小学生の頃夏休みに親父に教わりながら旋盤操作してました、親戚のお兄さんが大学の卒論で鉄塊から球体を作る工程を発表してたなぁ

Precision* engineering, at its finest. and it's even more intriguing to see how much work it takes to use conventional instead of CNC turning. either way, it takes many hours to get that done, judging the fast forward factor at some parts of the video were either 32 or 64

I think you mean the Hermaphodite caliper. They have one leg that is straight tip and the other with the tip bent in or out. I have been looking for one of these for sale for years. Made my own finally.
