      @@Mr00arne Sure thing, could not hurt to secure it with a mono ribb or something.

    A nice looking fly. I tend to use sparse "Falkus Medicine", type flies for seatrout at night, but this looks good for daytime.

    • @Mrfluefiske
      @Mrfluefiske  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it does look good this fly. Hugh Falkus makes some pretty good flies and the “Medicine Fly” works great in our rivers, fishing for sea trout and Salomon.

    Great pattern and well made video. Since you mentioned different color sceems - I wonder how this would look tied with pinkish/bubblegummy colored body, purple heckle and black tail with one piece of flash on each side oO

    what badger cape do you use Eivind?

    • @Mrfluefiske
      @Mrfluefiske  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Andreas. I’m not sure what brand my badger cape is. I’ve had it for 20+ years. You should look for a “Golden” badger cape. That’s the original color for this fly.

    Love it. Very nice Eivind. 💯💯 I actually have a pattern kind of similar but silver and without body hackle or bead chain eyes, you can see it on my Instagram. And yes they are very effective, I think is more to do with the size and as you said the tail size is very important as this is how predators recognise their prey by scanning them quick in size and behaviour. As always great tutorial, was fun to watch 💯💯🎣🐟
