9th hole, what a putt from Dan. And that shot from Joe the Pro, nearly impossible…under the trees, over the water, over the trap. So close to getting it on the green! Probably only Phil could have pulled that off, great shot Joe.
Great vlog again Dan. Loving some of the new camera angles especially the side by side on the Tee. Ryder Cup challenge idea for you. Come back to Yorkshire and play 4somes/balls at Moortown (1929 venue), then play the opposite at Ganton (1949 venue and venue for the Brabazon trophy), Lester gets a cracking night out in Scarborough as a bonus. Then day 3 head South and play singles around Lindrick (1957) venue. Interesting fact about Lindrick is that while playing you'll walk through 3 counties (Yorkshire, Notts and Derbyshire).
Tight matches but the brothers need to find some extra magic in the singles. This Ryder Cup format works really well and I was pleased to hear Dan say they would do the same on any Ryder Cup venues played on future vlogs.
Just watched the vlog at the same time as the actual tournament is on TV. Bit surreal. Course is such a challenge with this pins cut tight to the green edges. Big fight back needed by Dan and Paul on last six holes.
You mentioned the history of the Belfry, Dan, and were you aware it was a venue for rock concerts in the late 60s/early 70s and many huge bands including the Who, Led Zeppelin, Bowie, Free, Lindisfarne, Traffic to name but a few (and the list is endless) played gigs there during those years. Also spent my wedding night there in a huge room overlooking the 18th green, which was then known as the Augusta suite, some 35+ years ago!
I actually eagled the 10th in the 90's the week before the ryder Cup. Battered it down to the safe left bail out. Then chipped over the Brook into the hole. Hhhaa happy memories.
Duff and hope that's my strategy in every bunker I play with the emphasis on hope😁. Tough showing so far for the bus tour. Paul and Dan we are hoping for a Devon come back
Good to see Joe dialing it in after a few wayward drives, perhaps he's not so tense now 🤔, although a bit risky wearing that colour trousers after a madras 😯😉😁
Great golf being played, well-done Guys👍👍 I've been lucky enough to play the Brabazon several times and every time I have stood on the 1st tee full of confidence & hope. Yet every time I have trudged off the 18th Green, utterly dejected & defeated. It's one of the most deceptive Courses that I have ever played, it looks relatively open and straightforward, yet it has a way of sucking you in and spitting you out at the other end!
@@DanHendriksenGolf It is indeed and that is exactly what I used to tell my customers/suppliers/colleagues when they came to play at the Belfrey. Unless they were a good single figure handicap golfer I would politely suggest that they might have more fun if we played the PGA National or even the Darby courses. But because of its history, most just wanted to play the Brabazon, so I would advise them to bring plenty of balls! LOL
10th hole is a time machine. Took me back to the 1985 Ryder Cup, when Seve and Sam Torrance both hit the green with their tee shots. I believe the hole was closer to 260 then. Cheers from Texas🤠⛳🏌️
Hi, don't know if the video description can be changed now, refers to the French vlog last week. Really enjoying the match, good to have Joe the Pro back :)
@@DanHendriksenGolf Haha, I’m glad it’s not just me. Finding the fairways was hard enough, but it wasn’t just about finding them, you had to find them on the correct side. A couple of times I’d walk off the tee thinking “Cracker” and when I got to my ball I found I was blocked out by the trees! 🤬🤬

Superb part 2. Such a close game. Nice shot bernie 👌. Good golf played by all. Roll on part 3
Dan the course is so green . very well kept.and the golf is just fantastic
Loving the new format! Longer vlogs are awesome! Spring has the golf courses looking epic right now! 🔥🔥🔥
Tournament there this week, so it should be in a world class condition Travis!
Joe the Pro is certainly living up to the nickname this vlog! Tough competition but entertaining as always! Bring on the singles!
More to come! The singles is a good one Tyler!
World class golf video love the split screen 👏

Love that idea Paul! Think it would take some organising though!
Top notch entertainment. So much better than anything on TV.
Appreciate the kind words Shannon!
Another great vlog as usual
Those boys are turning the screws
Great golf Well done
Well played the boys. JtP on form down the stretch.
Lester saying “flushed that” as he zoomed in on the portable toilets is peak comedy 😂
Toilet humour Matt!
Tight matches but the brothers need to find some extra magic in the singles. This Ryder Cup format works really well and I was pleased to hear Dan say they would do the same on any Ryder Cup venues played on future vlogs.
It's a tried and tested format that seems to work David!
Just watched the vlog at the same time as the actual tournament is on TV. Bit surreal. Course is such a challenge with this pins cut tight to the green edges. Big fight back needed by Dan and Paul on last six holes.
The last part is a good one Steve!
Love the format, thanks. Lester's doing a grand job!
Glad you enjoy it Andrew, hope you enjoy the remaining parts.
Some great camera work/ positions made for a brilliant watch, along with some good golf too 👍
Glad you enjoyed it Paul.
Dan, you could have sold that putt on the 9th to the “Muppets”😂😂. Joe’s got his wedges dialled in, good stuff again.👍

Love the information Guy!
Joe and Dan look like the best playing partners anyone could want: genial, funny and very good at golf. Seems like this was pretty much a perfect day.
Absolutely Damian! Great day at the Belfry!
You all made the 10th tee shot look easy,,James,Chris,Mark and coach locky made ut look hard!!
Proper players on this channel Chris! haha
Nice to see Dan w playing graphite shafts, thought I was the only one! Love this format
He was using painted steel shaft mate.
@@DanHendriksenGolf Still just me then! But I do have a dodgy groin tendon
What a shot by Lester.
Playing that course soon. Bought it for my mates 50th. Looks hard!!!
Hope you have a great day out Peter.

Awesome Angela! What a claim to fame!

Keep watching Brian!
Great stuff gents - enjoying the longer format 🙂
More to come Martyn!
Great vlog good golf and good fun! I wouldn't have given that putt on the 11th though.
We were trying to speed up play, course was rammed John.
Misleading title Jordan. The favorites in this match certainly aren't the bros. Joe the pro is a beast!
Good to see Joe dialing it in after a few wayward drives, perhaps he's not so tense now 🤔, although a bit risky wearing that colour trousers after a madras 😯😉😁
Brave man and always good to have Joe on the vlog!
Great vlog guys. Top filming and competitive till the end 👍🏌️🏌️
Thank you Mark, really pleased with this vlog.
Good win for Joe the Pro and Dan no2

We were off the front tee Michael as they were protecting the main ones for the tournament.
Great vlog those boys are so tough to beat . Joe the pro does give it a good thump its good to watch . Looking forward to the singles
Absolutely Jeff!
Wow 😯 this is not a walk in the park. What a challenging course. Great fight between the two teams.
Yes it was
Well played guys, a bounce here and there and it’s a different result. Looking forward to seeing the singles matches.
Its a good final part!
What a 6 iron by Joe The Pro there! Reckon I'd struggle to get below 40 putts on those greens...
Bernie was delighted to just be filming haha
Great vlog loving the side by side shots on the tees and course
Glad you like the new features David.
Great series! How about some WITB’s with some of these newer guys to the channel. Thanks DHG
All in the pipeline Martin!
great vlog Dan and team, Belfry looks great,up against the power houses of Jo and Dan👍⛳
It was in an amazing condition Mark!
Some cracking golf there boys and the course looks amazing the next session is going good to watch come on Friday lol
Have a great day Friday David!
Great episode and a course I’ve played before . Any nosebleeds this far north? :)
Great match again, robbed at the end by Joe the pro! Looking forward to seeing the singles matches!
More to come!
👍Lester steps up with his only shot & nails it!!👍🤜🤛
He wouldn't hit anymore Don! haha
Looking like such a nicely designed course. Well done guys.
Absolutely Paul!
That looks very tough lads, class by Joe and Dan to be fair 👌
Absolutely Roger!
Great Golf by Joe & Dan the Pro's. Paul off his game on this Vlog like Dan was in France?
Plenty of golf left yet Rolf!
Hi, don't know if the video description can be changed now, refers to the French vlog last week. Really enjoying the match, good to have Joe the Pro back :)
Thanks Gareth, all sorted 👍
Nice to see Bernie had the chance to play
He was happy to film and commentate, plus got to tee off on 10!
great stuff gents another classic match
More to come Mick!
Great vlog 👍🏽
Well played boys, cannot believe those pin placements.
Rightly protecting the greens for the British Masters Tony!
joe the pro into everyone 😁 love it dan another great guest playing well has paul found a putter ❓just great content well done
Joe has game and banter!
Great camera work 👏
Thanks Matt!
Stop that loo, Joe’s had a lunchtime madras…..hilarious. 😂😂
He was struggling a little! Haha
I went yesterday and followed Westwood. From the backs he flew it almost exactly where DH put his ball on the 9th #extra30
Those boys can certainly hit it Guy.
QUESTION ? the Shotscope pop-ups show ‘average carry’ distances….. how is this calculated, or is it artistic ‘editing’ ??
Carry numbers from trackman numbers Steve.
I did tell you to practice your Seve pop boys
You were correct Kev!
played this course off the back tees and its so long! the elite make it look so easy but my god its not! proper course!
Agreed!
Is Brabazon Dan playing graphite iron shafts or are they just black metal ones. If so any reason he chooses them?
Painted steel Nigel! Lighter to increase flight I think was the reason.
What irons is joe the pro using.
Titleist T100s 👍
Paul is One dam good bunker player
Certainly is Mitch!
Did you not bump into Mr crossfield there
Filmed on different days
I've played the Brabazon a few times and it's a beast before they grow up the fringes. Also, too long for the likes of me.
We were off the forward tees, so sort of long club course Phil.
Bloody tough course is the Brabazon. It destroyed me when I played there!
Me too Dave!
Great vlog! On to singles.
Glad you enjoyed it Donald! Singles is a good one too!
Tell em who I beat 😂😂😂
Just noticed everyone is using wooden tees and breaking most of them, I’ve used the same plastic tee for 6 months now, just curious
Wood is obviously better for the environment and plastic is banned at some clubs now.
@@DanHendriksenGolf what about the paint of all those broken tees spreading into the soil? Didn't know plastic was banned
Not an easy course, especially playing from the rough 😳
Fertilised rough is not fun!
No no n. N n noooooo I had my money on you and Paul
Apologises Colin!
When you get out of position on this Course it is Difficult to make Pars. Part 3 is going to be Good Lets Go Dan and Paul
Agreed!
He’s not called Joe The Pro without good reason…
Dan i think you have a mackenie fetish😀
Guilty Thomas! haha
Great vlog what shafts is belfry dan using on his iorns 🏌🏻♂️
Not sure, although they are 75 grammes in weight, so very light.
@@DanHendriksenGolf just noticed they were black I was wondering they were graphite shafts
