I believe that Triangle's vision was his memory of the fight that he, monkey, ghidorah and apparently mothra had against Mecha-Kong that charles spoke about in part 17. It looks like they all lost their memory after the battle and lost their actual home in the battle

How about take them to 1998 Godzilla universe? Not just to fight but seeing Zilla interacting with the gang. And maybe having the humans seeing all the monsters and decide fighting all of them.

In Godzilla power comparison videos, the commenters have generally agreed that Heisei is the most powerful version, particularly due to his ability to survive a black hole - not to mention that nuclear meltdown issue from "Godzilla vs Destroyah" (my 2nd fav Godzilla flick after 1954's "Gojira").
