I SENSE SOMETHING WRONG DONE IN THE QUESTION SOLVED .RATHER THAN SUBTRACTING 1.529 FROM 120 , IT MUST BE ADDED AS" A" BEING AT HEIGHER ELEVATION THAN" B" AS INDICATED BY LEVEL READINGS.
Yes, he should add the difference to 120. staff readings indicate level of p is higher than q. Therefore reduced level of p should be more than that of q
Hi, I think there is some mistake in the last step. Please take a took while finding out the (RL)p . Since the B.S. is for station P, hence the formula for calculating should be (RL)q = (RL)p +(BS - FS). Correct me if i am wrong. And thanks for all these videos, helped me a lot for understanding surveying concepts in a very few time. Keep it up👍👍
Made a rough transcript up until about three minute mark. Hello everyone. In this video we will see error due to curvature and refraction and we will also see how to correct it using reciprocal leveling. Now let us first focus on curvature and refraction. You know that the earth is a curved surface. Whatever you see is not straight. So there will be correction due to this curvature. And also you have atmospheric refraction. So your line of sight will vary from the actual parallel that should be to the earth’s surface. Now let us say this is the mean sea level. And you have your instrument here. This is error due to curvature and refraction will be much less because you know the radius of the earth is about 6370 KM. So let’s say you have an instrument here, and you are sighting a staff that is kept here. So this is your horizontal length. Due to curvature this is your level length. The staff will actually be perpendicular to the surface like this. Curvature correction is negative. C_c=d^2/2r … D is nothing more than horizontal distance between instrument and leveling staff Refraction correction is positive C_R= 1/7 d^2/2r So what is combined correction? So combined correction is 〖C_R+C〗_c 1/7 d^2/2r-d^2/2r
Can u cover these topics "Digital elevation modeling concept, Computation of coordinates, Field astronomy, Concept of global positioning system, Map preparation by plane tabling and by photogrammetry, Remote sensing concepts, Map substitutes". please reply for this.
You have used wrong formula in the numerical problem. RL Of P will be =RL of Q + true difference... Why I am saying its + because, Here P is at higher level than Q, so we may have to add the true difference to the RL of Q..
Well, we use digital pen. It's difficult to get a perfect handwriting. We have improved over the years, and continuously trying to improve. Thanks for your feedback, we will look into it. Do check out our latest videos which have improve quality.
Just Follow this course from start to end. It's amazing. 💯
Glad you enjoy it 😇
sir great work and truely helping students like us who cannot afford coaching ..thank u
Great to hear that. Meanwhile help us reach more people , by sharing our channel and videos :)

thanks a lot sir, you explained in a short and concise manner.
isn't LAST step wrong ... u should add it instead ... since x minus y .. is negative means p is higher than q ... so rlofq plus diff is rlofp
yes it is wrong
Yes it is wrong . I wasted my time because of that .
No man ,it is true 👍
He just used wrong formula but ultimate result is right 👍😊

Nice sir ..way of explanation nice sir ..all the best sir
Thanks Arasan. Hope you have checked our site where we have covered the entire syllabus: learn.apseduverse.com

Hello everyone. In this video we will see error due to curvature and refraction and we will also see how to correct it using reciprocal leveling.
Now let us first focus on curvature and refraction.

Curvature correction is negative.

D is nothing more than horizontal distance between instrument and leveling staff
Refraction correction is positive C_R= 1/7 d^2/2r
So what is combined correction?
So combined correction is 〖C_R+C〗_c
1/7 d^2/2r-d^2/2r
this is a best channel..
Thanks! :)
Nice sir
u guys r really awsome. thank you so much
Please show some examples regarding angular error in the collimation adjustment of instrument
u r teaching avesome bro......@iitm
+Sai Kumar Thanks!
Sir plz upload other videos also . of gis gps
Hey. 8 found Your content so useful to me...... But there is no. Content for contour... Will you upload it soon ?
What exactly on contours ?
Hello sir please solve the numerical of reciprocal levelling asked in ESE 2020 for 8 marks starts with Rsin1"=30.876
sir last qwes mai true difference jo nikala hai reciprocal levelling ka wo hamesha positive lete hain kya..
Waiting for Curves, Photometry, Gps...
Can u cover these topics "Digital elevation modeling concept, Computation of coordinates, Field astronomy, Concept of global
positioning system, Map preparation by plane tabling and by photogrammetry, Remote sensing
concepts, Map substitutes". please reply for this.
Will do after sometime. :)
Upload modern survey edm and other photochomatic
What is collimation error and how is it corrected???
Nice
Good but it would be better If the writings are clear
Sir plz upload field astronomy survey topic..
Will do in a while :)
In final step, instead of adding you subdracted
waiting for remote sensing ,gis, gps and photogrammetry videos
Would be covering them in a while :)
Sir plz upload the videos of photogrammetry🙏🙏
Will do in a while..
@@APSEDUVERSE well😅
or you can just simply do
120 + [(1.385+0.75)/2] - [(3.005+2.32)/2] = 118.405 => 120 + (avg. BS) - (avg. FS)
Sound volume increase
In reciprocal leveling error due to curvature and refraction are neglected
You have used wrong formula in the numerical problem. RL Of P will be =RL of Q + true difference... Why I am saying its + because, Here P is at higher level than Q, so we may have to add the true difference to the RL of Q..
At last RL of P is calculated wrong. It should be more than Q.
Not have Calrety vedio sir letter s

Rl must 120+1.595
U r wrong
Ans. Is correct
Yes 120+1.595
Bcs point Q is below than P
Vai last step galt h...
Dear APSED, these 19 videos are enough to prepare for any technical exam regarding surveying subject ?
More or less. But this series doesn't include photogrammetric surveying , curves yet.
any expectations on these topics?
APSED yes sir,, please post videos of photogrammetry and on field astronomy..
