She was a favorite of mine, with her clear voice and understated vibrato/tremolo, which I favor! I hate those with a lazy throat who have a one-step vibrato, something that is common in elderly singers who no longer can control their throat muscles as well as they once did. It has happened to many, but not Doris Day! Judy Garland was an example of that as well as others I could name. Doris Day was talented in numerous ways, always friendly and personable. We lost her to pneumonia on 5-13-19, but we'll never forget her!
