I think Lamar should win mvp this year but I don't like that lamar won mvp last year even though his stats weren't good but this year people keep arguing he should win because of his stats.
I don't think anybody would've said Lamar has a better surrounding cast last year. This year Josh Allen lost diggs and Allen got Derrick Henry though so I think Lamar's surrounding situation is slightly better.
Lane Johnson only having 2 first team all pros is so tragic. He’s been a top 3 tackle in the league for like 10 years and his all pro numbers might keep him out of the hall
HENDRICKSON led the NFL in pressures(92), quick pressures (46) and sacks (17.5), while accounting for 32% of the Bengals Team Pressures (HIGHEST IN NFL)
Based on _what_ though? Reverse their passing stats: now tell me why Lamar, having those inferior stats should be MVP? Because this all seems to be a bunch of BS based on just wishing. I'll add to this: Theo _used to do _*_some_* analysis. (I wish he'd do more, he's really good at it). Recently, someone who goes by Legit Jonex here on YT has started doing some & his stuff on the Ravens is great. Monken is utterly inept. Lamar is having to work with an OC who often 1) sends only 2 or 3 receivers out on pass plays, 2) sends all the receivers to the same area, 3) sends them to end up in the same area. Monken is scheming plays that are easier for Him To See On Paper but make No Sense in games. That's _beyond_ all the other things he does that would limit any team's offense like forgetting Henry exists, or chunks of the playbook for large sections of the game & running 2-4 plays on repeat until the opposing defense looks so familiar with them they gain nothing. I've yet to see anyone show us what Allen is having to deal with. But with Monken, the play are _so_ insipid, Lamar doing 60% of what he actually gets is nothing short of spectacular. & it's with receivers who drop more.
@ I think Allen has a significantly weaker team in almost every position and was still able to get more wins than the Ravens. He also had less turnovers even whilst being forced to spread out targets. Josh was a one man offence for the Bills this year who themselves were one of the best offences in NFL history, all without having a second star to support him (James Cook is great but he’s no Derrick Henry).
to say there's no other option at left tackle is insanity when the highest pff graded player this year was a left tackle that wasn't wirfs. not that pff is end all be all, i don't think it's great, but at least for OL it's quite good, in addition to advanced metrics for OL that same tackle had the 2nd highest win rate with the 2nd highest island rate, and 1st wasn't wirfs. i feel like theo just has weird beef yet again
I think there is a lot of revisionist history going on with the bills now. They weren't considered that good of a team at the start of the year and outside of Allen and the o line they weren't that great of a team by the end of it. The defence especially when without benford or Milano was genuinely really bad and the pass catchers weren't the level you'd want from a contending team. Only really the o line and cook were legitimate contending level players on the roster aside from allen (and a couple defensive players)

People saying “pff is only good for oline” is entirely not true. People say that because no one actually watches oline tape
