@@ChrisCox-wv7oo I will be honest that I have not spent any time training the crossbow the way I learned the bow. I spent hours in the combat training practicing specific moves, slowly and with intention. I did the opposite with the crossbow.
Thank you. Just stick with it and it will get a lot easier. As you become more comfortable it begins to feel absolutely amazing. Have fun and enjoy life on eternity. 😊
I do want to try the bow more, I have higher damage bows but I'm terrible at it, I'm usually using staffs or crossbows, my ice crossbow that does 4 shots is pretty sick haha
The bow can definitely take some time to get to used to but once you get the hang of it, it’s like walking. If you spend 5 minutes a day in the training grounds before going out into the dungeons, it helps tremendously.
Just grab it from your back. The moment you have a bow in your hand it is automatically implied that you have a quiver on the back. Unlimited arrows, fire away!
The bow seems to be the best ranged weapon for me at the moment, I tend to land more head shots on the Zombies. The bowcaster is good but my aim seems to be off sometimes, I think it's to do with aiming it one-handed. Do you think the bow deals maximum damage if you use it at the full draw length?. Oh and the lasso method of loading works well for me as well, been doing that since the start.
I’ve noticed the same as well on everything you have mentioned. Same with drawing the bow fully back vs half way through. It could just be perception or actual. Difficult to tell without combat logs. After playing for hours I become more fatigued and look for ways to play with less effort and realized a lot of the attacks can be done with little effort and maximized with technique, like playing golf.
This is what i do naturally, like on a real bow, but sometimes the headset loose the tracking when you put your hand at the back of your head and the arrow take a strange angle.
Thanks for taking a moment to reply brother. Pretty cool that the skill just translates over eh? Hehehehe. Do you play on the Quest 2 or 3? I hear that using the Quest Pro controllers with the Quest 3 might be better for tracking but I’ve never tried it. I literally could not find a justifiable way to tell the wife that I was going to spend $500 on a headset and $300 on controllers. The next question was going to be “Doesn’t it come with controllers?” I don’t think she would have understood my reply and hence create a not so fun experience. Lol 🤣😂🤣
Hello Jose! Of course and thank you. The head strap is the BoboVR M3 with battery pack. A facial interface to replace the stock one. This one is more of a leather/vinyl feel. I also ended up ordering the active strap for the controllers.
Using the bow is fun, but I don't use them for one reason: it's too hard to use them while carrying the harvesting staff. Also, the most powerful weapons I get for back slot are crossbows. BTW bows should be more powerful since they're much harder to use. Anyway I'll eventually try to use the bow too. Not for soul harvesting ROFL
Yeah, it just requires some practice but when the familiarity with it clicks in and your actions just become responses, it a TON of fun. Two simple routines that work wonders. Routine 1, from standing, withdraw the bow, load it, take a shot, put the bow back in the holster. Do this slow and controlled for 5 minutes over and over. Then spend another 5 minutes practicing reloading. Just take a shot, reload, take a shot, reload, repeat. Just doing this once a day will develop a familiarity with the weapon. Once you get comfortable with those steps, then start working on your aim. Bows are stupid fast and dangerous as they are right now if you know how to use them.
Hehe yeah, using a real bow definitely requires require some skill and strength. Super beneficial to only have to hold and pull something that weighs a few ounces.😂
@@KemiKaze Lol, I used to play all day long with a music playlist of trap, hip hop and drum n bass. I would just sit there and dance all day like Star Lord tossing daggers and shooting bows. Fun times! 😆

Hahahaha
Holy shit that's an amazing technique! Thanks for sharing, I'm gonna try it
Wooot!! Get it! Consistent daily practice goes a long way. 😎
Your TH-cam channel is great thank you. I’ve always struggled with bows
This is very helpful, thank you!
You are most welcome. I am grateful that it has reached you.
Really good stuff. Thanks for all the technical pointers
Thank you. I am grateful that benefits you. :)
Do you do the same for crossbow reloading, loop in front instead of loop overhead?

I still havent figured out how to load the arrows. Do you need a quiver? Or just grab an arrow from your back

I play with a guy who can shoot arrow 5x like a crossbow😅 he taught me how
Such an awesome skill to have

@@AI_Marvals yes it's funny how you don't even have to use a proper form and still shoot like robin hood 🤣
