I would like new finished and complete games with original characters and gameplay instead of remakes. Original Rick is perfectly playable and looks good enough. The remake plays differently. If they loved the original they could just create new character, new levels with similar gameplay using the engine and this graphics style. Many of these new releases are mostly copycats and remakes of something we already had and it was cloned like dozen of times in the early 90's. I would like a crazy pinball game based inspired by Devil's Crush for the Amiga with original graphics and sound. Why nobody tries to create interesting exploration platformer like YoJoe was? Or completely original single screen platformer like Snow Bros but with some original characters and gameplay?
@@JustJamie1983 Amiga had realistic pinball games that are still amazing, but Devil's Crush and its seques is a completely different pinball game with some fantasy monsters and grotesque artstyle to it. Check it out. It was released for PC Engine. Cool game.
@@mattx5499 I'd like to see a pinball construction kit based on the Digital Illusions engine. Obviously it would need to be a little more limited than everything those games allow, but it could still be made pretty flexible. There could generic parts and artwork for people who just want to throw a table together, but also the ability to alter the size and shape of the elements and then overlay your own artwork on top of them. For the elevated rails, it could have something like Deluxe Paint's curve tool where you draw the line and then it gets replaced with the rail graphics. Back when the Amiga was still new, a magazine published images of a WIP port of Pinball Construction Kit from EA which looked quite nice. Being an early title, it was only going to be single-screen with no scrolling, but even so, I was extremely disappointed when it was canceled. I know there was Pinball Power, but that was terrible.

Wow what a collection, Star Wars Dark Forces is amazing considering the port. Death Rally also rocks and great special effects! 😀
Absolute gems this year for the Amiga.
Imagine if the Star Wars game was on the Amiga back in the day. There would have been no need to get a PC for Doom.
I love that cyberpunks got a sequel. The first one wasn't amazing, but I still loved playing it back in the day.
Yup. It definitely wasn't one of the better Amiga games and the sequel definitely was much better.
Great list! Just curious! 😉 Did you not like Reshoot 3? Thats on my frist place for Amiga games 2023. ☺️
I did indeed. But I had to pick a top 10 😀
@@JustJamie1983 totally understandable. I was just thinking since xevious made the list ... 😇😇😇😂
Just a nitpick. AGA Amigas didn't use Kickstart 1.3
Nope that would have come later.
Surely the first game is an ZX81 game that was accidentally mixed up.
Hmm, which one?
Jesus, that Dark Forces looks great!
It really is. Needs to be played.
The graphics on Rick Dangerous Enhanced look nice, but the gameplay changes kill any desire I might have had to play it. :(
I see what you mean.

@mattx5499 I thought Amiga already had some Pinball games?

could you put links to the games please in future thanks
I'll see what I can do for the 2024 edition.
Sorry but quite frankly some of these look like Atari games. I would rather not have them on my platform at all. Terrible.
You are right. They could blow up your computer!
