  • In this talk, I'll outline how startups can leverage bottom-up programming in Clojure to build better products faster. I'll report on my experience picking Clojure for my startups over 10 years ago and why I'm doubling down on Clojure in 2022.

This was a great talk! I had a big fear of starting projects that could turn into startups using Clojure but now I’m at the point where I don’t care and I’m sticking to it because if I plan to work on a project for a long time, it might as well be using a language that I love!

I agree wholely. My only issue and it seems to be a lisp thing in general is it’s hard to find examples or toy projects. People are using it but they don’t really share code

Holy crap! Look at some of this dude's other interviews from the past, he's made a huge transformation. Looks 15 years younger, great job on getting fit Bradford!

    用graph控制continuation倒真是个好办法. 反正graph也是个值, 求值状态是另外一个graph, 这样执行的高阶抽象就有了.

Nice. Very Paul graham spirit. "The more code you write, the quicker you get instead of slower". Its easier to do the right things when using lisp. Clojure has another power aspect and that is the community. Everybody exited about tech.

Excellent points. Equally applicable for big established companies IMO.
