Hi vesper... There is a more optimum damage combo than the last one because of the LP fireball and DP into CA you waste more hit from the juggle after the CA. Just do HP DP (2hits) after the Mk and cancel into CA then wait and do HP DP and it's a 524 damage combo.
581 damage 580 stun Full meter & v-gauge Corner only j.HP or j.HK b.HP MP shoryuken xx CA (you'll need to wait just before the opponent hits the ground so that the first hit of MP shoryuken is grounded and thus, cancellable) HP shoryuken xx VT (like before, you'll need to wait a moment. The first 2 hits should be grounded, then VT cancel the 2nd hit.) VT shoryuken
I feel like if this guide is geared for beginners, you should show easier combos that get only slightly less damage. Example - light to hard tatsu instead of (both mediums, kick, tatsu, uppercut)
why didn't your stint with v trigger activation to finish the dp's in most of your combos? especially that last one. just for a demoralizing killer effect on the opponent. :-D
so i switched from ryu to akuma and i practiced hik for a couple hours i go online and i get my ass whooped,i was better with ryu and ryu is what bottom teir? i just need more training or something
Well, I usually use them in a combo, or to sweep my opponent. Personally, I'm not exactly sure if they're quick enough to actually "counter" anything. See if you can do that when your opponent is about to execute a special or normal move. Find out what works and what doesn't. Trial and error, I guess.

last combo does more damage if you cancel medium kick into fierce dp and cancel the 2nd hit of dp into super, then juggle with fierce dp (524)
you're right. also, canceling into the MP DP part is nearly impossible for some reason unless you're super close.

If you cancel the super on the second hit of the DP, you will get a decent amount more damage from that combo.

3rd combo stand medium kick (before v skill) doesnt connect, why?
do you really get that much more corner carry from vskill palm finish than light tatsu into heavy tatsu? The difference seems negligible.
You get the bonus of a meaty setup potential on quick rise and back rise.

akuma is a harder to learn and ryu is a ez begin character

how do u get a crush counter started? do u parry (MK + MP) first?
It's just the fierce buttons (usually R1 or R2).

You have to time it very late my friend, wait a moment then do it before the opponent touches the ground.
lol in my sf no works more late or more fast no hits with dp mp just hit with dp lp or hp but dp mp no :S
