  • A short video showing several pegmatite intrusions in an outcrop along the Trans-Canada highway. Sorry for the traffic noise...

    Translation:
Thank you youtube . com. My elder brother (name, place, area, country) likes stone. He had a brain injury 3 years ago, and now he can only hear. (???) Thank you youtube . com.
I guess he's saying that his older brother likes stone, and although he can't feel it or see it, he can listen to people talk about it on TH-cam, and this makes him very happy.

WTF is K-Spar ? I know of Plagioclase Feldspar (grey) and Orthoclase Feldspar (pink) but I have only heard a few Americans call anything K-Spar. I looked it up but the rest of the world calls it Orthoclase.
So why do you guys need to be so different ? Is it a Metric thing ? !!!

SnowTiger45 k-spar is short for potassium feldspar. Potassium is represented by the letter K on the periodic table. It’s just easier to say lol. Amazonite, orthoclase, microcline, and a few others are all considered part of the k-spar family due to their potassium content.
