"The President can always send C.J. Cregg to Ramallah to swat at suicide bombers with her purse." Toby's right about one thing. He's certainly watchable.
Toby: Calls Annabeth irrelevant. Also Toby: Proceeds to use literally every bit of advice that Annabeth gave him earlier in the episode during his conversation with CJ.
He has a "watchable" quality. LMAO!!! Toby is the man, even though the press briefing he held was a total disaster. There's nothing worse than telling a bunch of reporters that the new Chief of State can hit at suicide bombers with her purse. I love this show!!!
There was,of course, the train wreck that was Josh Lyman, limiting reporters to one question each then, after being asked when Bartlet last had a cigarette, asked the reporter if he wanted his one question to be that stupid😂
I know this is late and all, but: she didn’t want to be “deputy press secretary”, she wanted to be “deputy press secretary for media relations” which is an entirely different job and one that was never mentioned before in the series, so I’m pretty sure the job wasn’t already taken.
Toby...I love ya...and you can here this "but" coming down like a meteor...BUT you are one of the least personable people I've ever seen, beaten out by me as a teenager (had TERRIBLE stage fright) and a druggy who could speak at sixty miles an hour. He wasn't saying anything, but it was fun to listen to.
I never liked Annabeth and I really hated the "romance" between her and Leo which was altogether ham-handed and forced. Leo should have ended up with that lawyer lady - now *she* was a good match for Leo!
Apparently it was heading there but when John Spencer died, they kind of threw away that stupid angle. Prior to that, there was one scene in one of the episodes which had alluded to it though we thankfully never had to see it.
I don't think it was a relationship it was just Annabeth having the crush but damn, I missed Jordan. I wanted to see more of them together and who can forget! President romancing the first lady using election stats and Leo doing the same using the SAME election stats to romance Jordan 😂😂😂😂
@@moimeself1088 Did you just watch the same scene I did? You’d have to have followed Tobys arc through the entire series. Must be some purse.
He definitely has… “a quality”
I love these two.. I love this show so much

Toby is watchable for pretty much the same reasons.
he is cuddly

Toby didn't have a secret plan to fight inflation so Josh has a leg up on him there.
Why choose? You can like them both!! (I do!)
Did they not learn from the Josh "secret plan to fight inflation" debacle?
No 😂😂
"They lowballed the estimates." Why didn't he open with that?
