This gives me so many ideas for my 1000-3. Thanks for sparking some ideas. This is a terrific build and what's better is you have so few dollars in it. Well done!👋

I made a roof on my 520 from my traction boards, used U clamps onto the roll bars and then heavy zip ties between the two boards. Works great and saves room in the box.

Very nice. I’m building doors for a couple of side by sides now and will probably incorporate a few of your ideas. I see how you latch them from outside with the cooler straps but how is it latched from the inside when you are riding

Thanks! There’s two cooler yeti style latches inside on each door. Video shows them.

Very nice design and great narration of your project! I plan to replicate this on my Polaris before next winter. Do you remove your doors for summer use? How hard would it be to remove them temporarily?

@@joelpenticoff1951 thanks:) I run a long bungie behind my cab window and hook a yeti style latch from each door into the bungie in warm months

The fire extinguisher bracket is simply mounted with two bolts and nuts

Looks great, I am planning to copy it. What hardware did you use? I had considered using #12 stainless steel nuts and bolts.
I am also trying to engineer sliding windows, my wife who is paraplegic uses ours as her deer "blind". Our windshield tips out but it would be good to be able to slide the windows back.
Thank you in advance, this one looks better than some of the aftermarket offerings.

I was wondering about the seat covers. I looked for them on Amazon for a Honda pioneer 500 and 520 but didn’t find anything, would you be able to provide a link? BTW the warn winch looks very useful, I found it and am now interested in one. Great job with your machine, awesome build, the best Ive seen on TH-cam. I was contemplating 100 watt solar panel on the roof powering up a separate battery pack running a cb radio or led light bar, completely separate from the machines electrical.
