daniel gonzalez I would check your a/f to be sure but if it was the key method to making it pop you just wait for the interior lights turn off and then turn it back on (usually 10 seconds with my car) normally.timing should be around 4-6 degrees timing on idle with the “mod” or factory it’s idles at about 10-14 degrees on mine. ( 2005 g35 revup) not sure if the standard de engine runs more or less but that should be around the ball park.

That actually retards your timing chain to make the pops. It's really bad for the engine and puts a lot for stress on the chain. Don't do this a lot!! Or you will ruin your G. Get a proper tune

It’s a key flip and I feel that it’s better when you gas your car a bit, you get more pops, but it does give your cam sensors a bad time though 👍🏻
