    What diameter are the straight couplers? Are they 32mm or 40mm? Olympic weight plates are 50mm so how would these fit snuggly? Thanks

      The inside diameter of the couplings are 32mm. The outside diameter fits Olympic plates perfectly

      They measure from the inside. Externally its bigger.

    What clamp size do you use? The Olympic size?

      Yes, just an olympic sized collar. I have used the metal clamps as well as the other style.

      I can't remember specifically what it is called but you use it to make the PVC pipe look prettier when it's against the wall.. sorry 😅

    Hi, I'm thinking of trying this design. How has it held up so far?

    • @craigpreston1661
      @craigpreston1661  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's held up really well for me, you just need to make sure that the plates will fit on if you're using the pressure pipe.
      Apologies for the delay, I didn't have notifications on.

      @@craigpreston1661 All good, I ended up going with some iron pipe threadings with more or less the same layout, and it works great!

    There's a much cheaper way. Just get a length of 4X2 and something to strap your foot to it with. That's it. Done. The farther you allow the wood to extend behind your heel, the harder it is to raise yourself off the ground. And it's infinitely adjustable, too
