knee went to pakistan and only lost 3 ft10 despite playing multiple ft10 aginst pretty much every pakistan players.
He lost to a random akuma guy who doesn't even do tournaments, to heera's steve in a steve mirror 10-3 and against the jon's marduk (forgot the score but was closer than heera). Other than that he rkt everyone including arslan.
He played a ft15 against Arslan the score was 5-5 and knee ended up winning 15-5 winning 10 consecutive matches in a row so is fine liking pakistan I love their scene also but saying they are unmatched and everyone there would kill everyone everywhere is stupid tbh.

Pakistanis grew up playing Tekken and KoF.
Thats why a lot of them like playing Legacy Characters (Arslan is an exception, although his main earlier 2018 was Nina Williams)
Akuma is relatively popular in Pakistan, this is evident from the fact that Pakistani players know the Akuma matchup extremely well.
And same with Geese. But Geese overall was, and still is a lot more popular than Akuma.

@@makhdoom65 A lot of people requested nerfing Akuma due to too many touch of death situations. Not everyone, of course, but a lot of people found broken aspects on the character, same with Geese on release: Some said "this character is broken" even though no one was doing much waves with him, then everyone was using it and the brokeness was noticeable.
There are characters that are powerful but people don't use them enough. That's the beauty of the game, there is a lot of depth.
when akuma came out in s3, many considered him as the best. so i don't know where you get that mid tier.

Koreans overlooking Akuma is pretty much for the same reason they overlooked Geese. They're so entrenched in their Tekken bubble that they couldn't wrap their heads around the mechanics of these guest characters and wrote them off out of arrogance rather than admit they didn't understand them and refused to learn them. And now they're paying for that hubris by getting bodied by Pakistani Akumas.

LOL, adding on what MainMan said. Atif Butt placed 4th in a local tournament few days ago where he was eliminated by Arslan Ash who placed runner up while Fate's Imran Khan won the whole thing. Monsters like Ahsan Ali, Fate duo of Khan and Bilal, Hassan Naruto, Heera Malik and Arslan Freakin Ash weren't even there.

Players as good as Arslan , awais honey and Atif can VERY EASILY be spotted in almost every single corner of all major cities in Pakistan. These three were lucky enough to participate. I personally know Pakistani players who never got such exposure and can destroy Dozens of arslans awais and atifs without a sweat. Same goes for king of fighters too ...

The first player to start playing Akuma on high level in Pakistan was Ryuk Leonidas (Hamraz) Who also happens to be the mentor of Awais Honey. Ryuk is a kof Veteran too, he is married and the principle of school. hence cannot event focus on the game more.

Majority of players always think a character is overpowered when they see tournament players winning with them. Even though each character is strong in their own right.

Its just that now that Geese has been nerfed the focus is on Akuma. Why? Because he got buffed! Already broken in S2 and buffed in S3? Dont try to say Akuma isnt broken because you know he is. 10f max damage combos and meter gains which are like having access to multiple rage drives. Its broken, seriously.

Pakistani here, studying abroad in the Philippines, living with my mother's side of the family, my cousin got me back into Tekken, after i stopped 6 years ago, competition was tough and my grades were bad, so had to drop video games to focus on studying. You know that something is wrong with tekken, when the top 3 in masters is using only 2D characters. Introducing characters that were designed for 2D and importing them to a 3D game without proper adjustments to balance them to existing characters was a big mistake.
And 2D characters are better at fighting 2D characters since they have dedicated antiairs and the like. Really, we're bound for a Bob-fest but with 2D chars this time. Nothing quite gets the salt flowing as doing a Backlash against a jump-happy Akuma and seeing it miss because it hits too low...
i think the world are just overwhelmed cause they have not seen akuma players these strong before. in due time i think they will do better against these pakistani akuma users.

They should balance Akuma by putting in an execution barrier. Fireball should be triple QCF and DP should be pretzel. Rage art messatsu-gou-hadou should be 1,1,f,3,2, 1+2, 2+4, 1+3, 1+2+3+4. No need to change his frame data.

Geese's combos are easy lol. Imagine only pressing 1+2 to cancel and not having to deal with a dash input that doesn't always guarantee a 14 frame launcher into screw. Akuma is fine as it is, reducing his meter gain is stupid.

And most of pakistani player were playing akuma or safe characters.They have no courage to play hard characters. cuz they know akuma is absurdly, ridiculously strong.
