Tbh, SF9's families are well off so even though many of them owns businesses, they don't really need their son's fame to advertise it. For example, aside from Rowoon's mom's academy and his father's real estate office - Inseong's family runs a business in London, Dawon's family also runs a business overseas, Taeyang's family runs a restaurant in Seoul, and Zuho's family also runs multiple businesses in Gangnam. But they never advertise it. If anyone is wondering, Youngbin's family are all accountants for big corporations and Hwiyoung's are dentists. The only 2 members who doesn't come from a wealthy family are Chani and Jaeyoon. But their families are around middle class.
just to clear things up: a chaebol is a multi-industry company owned by a family, it also has negative connotations to it because many chaebols in korea are so big that their owners defy the law and they are criticized by the korean public, some examples of chaebols are: samsung, hyundai, LG, lotte so although this might be a popular term that kpop stans use we should first understand what it truly means we can just say that an idol is rich instead of using this word

@Eunwoo Forever, i did watch tempted and its not just my opinion. The critics response for her acting in tempted was bad. That's what struck my interest to watch the drama. I love joy so when i saw that she got a bad response for her acting, i had to watch it and unfortunately, i agree. Its ok to not be a good actress, she is doing great as an idol or model. There's no need for her to be an actress.
