Hi Tiffany! It’s not German, it’s written in Russian language. Translation: To our dear Sofia Davidovna from the students of 4th b grade 1967, Lviv Town Lviv was a part of USSR since 1944 (now it’s a town in western Ukraine) - that’s why it’s written in Russian language. This set was gifted to a beloved teacher as appreciation for her work.
I’m neither a reseller nor a collector, however I just truly enjoy your videos. I find your voice/personality so calming…love your laugh….fun to see your family and pets. My son lives in Vegas so I’m hoping to come to the store next time I’m out.
Hi Tiffany, I love how you tell us the items you find what they are name or called. You are a great teacher, that is helping you subscribers. Thank you for all your help!
I was there earlier that day and bought the other dragon ware cup and two espresso cups that match the orange striped sugar/creamer set. Wish they put everything out at once. Now we each have half of both. 😆🤷🏻♀️
Wow the tea cup surprise turns out to be a real treasure! And your loving pets are real treasures too. The house came out really nice. Thanks for sharing. ❤
I started collecting the Rudolph when they first came out. Wanted to let you know that the blue boxes were the original release the co sold and the red boxes came out I think the following year. I have the large full fold out castle and the minutures. If you find the Castle worth alot😊
Tiffany my grandmother had the teacup in her collection. Before she passed she put her granddaughters and great granddaughters names on the cups she wanted them to have. My daughter has the same cup and we never knew the secret! You never gave a $ value. Not that we could ever let it out of our family but it’s nice to know.
Thank you for thrifting such beautiful treasures. Enjoyed your fans ur fur babies during ur haul. The color combinations of ur house look so warm and inviting. Jake cute and involved in ur house being painted. Checking the whole thing.
I FOUND A SMALL CRYSTAL JEWEL BOX AT SALVATION ARMY TIFFANY AND COMPANY I WAS SO EXCITED !!! FOR $4 WELL LLONG STORY SHORT .... MY KITTY SLAPPED IT IN THE FLOOR.. BUT I STILL HAVE THE MEMORY AND STORY ..LOL😂
I worked for El Torito in Washington State for about 17yrs. They went out of business in Washington, and I think in other states. The last I heard they had several in California. The paint job on your house looks great. Try not to drive by it thinking you are looking for the old color. I did that a couple of times after my apartment building got painted.
54:39 Tiff do more research on delft house. KLM Airlines gave them out to first class/business class. If it's an older one, some go into 100s, even 1000s if you have sets.
The Delft house is a decanter for Jenever which is a Dutch drink like gin. This one looks as though it is a souvenier piece from the airline KLM. When you were looking at the Anchor Hocking vases that were red you described them as being Cranberry glass which they are not, they are ruby which is darker. Cranberry glass is a pinkish red glass and the colour comes from gold that is added to the glass. Cranberry glass is from the later part of the 19th Century and the early part of the 20th Century. It has a quality to it and it isnt a flat, dull red.
Tiffany! I love the colors you chose for your house ❤❤! It turned out beautifully. Thank you for the tour. The info on the Japanese cup & saucer was new to me. I had never heard of the geisha relief at the bottom of the tea cup. I’ll now add that to my BOLO list! 🥰😻
Hi Tiffany, Your house looks fabulous with the new paint job -such a nice green color!! I really like your private yard, plants and fruit trees. You had a great haul as usual. I hope you do well with the Tiffany candle holder!
The Buchan pottery is something hard to find. I have been collecting for 20 years . The Scottish maker closed many years ago. I had to replace a dinner plate this year and payed 95 dollars. So enjoy your video's. Love the dogs but my heart is with your adorable cats.
Many fun visits to El Torito when I lived in Long Beach and the San Francisco Bay Area. Best margaritas anywhere and the food was always DELICIOUS. I just went to look, and there are El Torito restaurants in Long Beach and Carson, CA. JUST THE YUMMIEST! Thanks for asking! :)
Hi Tif, I remember El Toritos on Goldenwest next to Goldenwest College in Westminster. It was pretty new when i lived there. Lived in Huntington Bch in the mid 70s. My husband was from HB and graduated from Marina HS. Brought him back to my hometown in Pittsburgh.
Hello Tiffany @Thrifting Vegas! The coffee serving set originated from Ukraine. I’ve found the exact same picture of the back-stamp. The manufacturing plant in Boryslav town (Lviv region) closed in 2002. Still similar pieces are around, and a full set with 6 cups is offered for purchase at the px of about $180. I’ve won a couple of dragon ware cups with saucers at a local charity auction, and so I knew what the secret could be 😊 Just my cups still have the original labels and I can’t figure out if the secret is there. Keep on guessing. Thank you for educational and fun videos. Cheers 🇺🇦
I forgot all about El Torito! Looks like we might have one left in Houston, but I haven't been to one in almost 30 years. That's crazy, and I may have never remembered that place if you didn't mention it, but I have many memories of it as a kid, teen, and in my early 20's.
What a wonderful haul!! Tiffany candlestick, Japanese cup and saucer, KLM airline miniature, Bandit and Ziggy!! One more thing--the Christmas tree stocking holder could be saved by adding a small red bird or ornament to the top. Easy fix?
