Hello friends, I hope you're having a lovely day! A new game pack has just launched and it's called Dream Home Decorator. I dont usually build anything modern, but I really wanted to for this pack since the build items were so gorgeous! I hope to attempt more modern builds, it's really fun to do something different once in a while.
For this speedbuild I created a Scandinavian apartment which is very colourful and is modern yet cluttered and cozy. I hope you enjoy the speedbuild and the ambience sounds! Have a great weekend :))

First of all, amazing build! ❤️ You probably already know, but there is this really smart shelf, called the OSMP shelf. It’s a piece of CC, you can download for free, that’ll help you place clutter everywhere. And if you delete it afterwards, the build won’t contain CC! 😊

Wowwww,🤩 I love this You know, I was amazed that you brought a big tree 🌳that looked like a banana in my neighborhood and put it in the bedroom you built. I was shocked, but I love it for that size too. And I wonder if the Sims characters in this house have anything to do with the boxes because no matter where I look I can only see the boxes 📦you decorated. I absolutely love this! As a fellow scandinavian, it’s definitely accurate! For some reason, tho, my sim can’t make it to their bed. They’ve picked up the tablet tho… Any idea why this could be? I’m pretty new to the sims and couldn’t figure it out by myself 😪
Also, they can’t finish cooking for some reason. Anyone else who has the same problem?

I'm wondering too! Specifically the shadows look so good, I installed the same reshade but didn't get the extra shadows effect

If you can only buy a few packs, first figure out what you value most in playing, like what's more important to you, then ppl can prob help you figure out which packs suit your needs!

I've always wanted to ask you about lightning in your bouldings. Because most of all lamps etc in sims 4 have weird yellow light and I wanted to ask you did you tried to change it to white light? Idk from my point it will look even better. Anyway, all your buildings are amazing!!

Thank you so much! 💛 Oh you’re not rude at all, I find it a good thing that I get questions like this! Honestly I change the light colours pretty often in my builds, but in the kitchen I just forgot 😂 And sometimes I also think that it gets TOO white ya know
What pack is that plate rack in the kitchen from?
This is probably something basic, but I don't understand how you "fine place" objects, since I can only move them by half a square, no less. The left side of the tall cabinet in the dining area is invisible (in the wall) for me. I can only place it by the wall like this, or half a square away from the wall. - aah nvm, it's ALT :D Never used this powerful option before but I have the feeling it will be my new best friend :)
Also hold down "CTRL+SHIFT+C" to open the cheat bar, and type "bb.moveobjects on" then hit ENTER. Hold down "CTRL+SHIFT+C" again to close the bar. It will allow you to move objects anywhere

hope you have enjoyed the ALT key, even without moo in use it is a builders best friend fr. Use it for everything from placing clutter to fine tuning roof heights and window placements. :D
How do you freely shrink and enlarge items? I’ve been using the brackets but they have fixed sizes. Same with rotation? I can’t figure it out. I also use the move objects cheat as well
If you hold alt then hold click and drag you can freely rotate, but I’m pretty sure she’s also using the brackets for the sizes - it might just be the high speed that makes it seem like she’s freely sizing

How do I get my view to look like that? All I see is clouds unless my sim is downstairs outside
have you tried turning up your game settings? maybe increasing the view distance can help :)
