I would recommend the okuma evx 861 musky rod, I got it from Amazon and it’s really nice because it telescopes to about 6’11” for easy traveling, also it was around $120.
Be careful with the sojourn rod! While it's a great rod for the money, the manufacturer does a lousy job of packaging it, and results in broken eyelets due to rough handling during shipping. Most of the one star reviews on amazon about his rod revolve around this issue, so it might be a good idea to try and buy it at a brick and mortar store.. For an alternative to the Abu Garcia, The Kastking Rover 60 is under $60 on Amazon, has a 20lb drag, and a5.3:1 gear ratio. Downside handle left is the only option on Amazon at the moment.
Bass pro shop selling their musky rods for $37.95 for a limited time. I bought a abugarcia STX reel because it has a synchronized level wind for $85.99. Caught plenty of 10 pound fish for this setup only problem is the reel is a 5.5.1 gear setup with 12 pound max drag. But for near $100 bucks it’s worth it

I bought a Dobyns 795 swimbait rod with a shimano Cardiff 301 for bass fishing big swimbaits and I love it. I bet I could even use It for Muskie too
