After all these years of studying and practicing as an architect, I still regards Alvaro Siza as a true master. I was fascinated by architects like Rem Koolhaas, Zaha Hadid etc. However, after I practiced in a star architect office and many commercial offices, I found many architects are either ego centric or money driven. I found Siza is a very humble and creative genius. I visited couple of his works in Porto and the works are truly fascinating.
I Had Alvaro Siza as Professor he is not just an incredible architect and Professor but also a great human been!
