Hello Stripster. I've been to many Bruce Lee conventions in the U.K. My first one was in October 1991 and Noman Borine was there - RIP. He was A nice guy. On show was Bruce Lee's GOD tracksuit. It smelt of Bruce's sweat. Norman told us A story that when he bought the tracksuit in the 1970's, his maid washed it and the footprint was washed away. He was annoyed. Keep on kicking MR S.
Stripey, very cool instructional video on the ETD Nunchuck Routine 👍 Mark (Owens) is truly one heck of a person! The news of Agnes' passing is very sad in deed and now there are only 2 siblings left, may she Sleep In Peace 🙏😔 Until your next one, stay healthy 🤝
Back in 1974 aged 14 after returning home from the cinema (Fist of Fury) mums broom went missing, dad helped to fit a piece of chain and there was a Bruce Lee in the back yard...I was lucky to witness the martial arts craze of the 70s triggered by this incredible human being.
Kudos for this bro, Im 61 and been a Lee fan since the GH days, Bruce has been a heavy influence in my life, the center between the finger and that heavenly glory. Keep blastin
Good video stripey,. Many a sore head I got trying to do that, back in the long summers of the late 70's!..and my mum was non to happy at having lot her mop to make them lol.. The 70s were a great time to be a kid and have Bruce as an idol to look up to.. No football for me.. Just Bruce Lee posters and a trip to the local flepit every few weeks for a Bruce fix!! I'm so glad I have never lost that wondement.. Even now as I walk past my shelf with what's left of my magazines.. KFM /Dragon etc.. Takes me right back again.. Thanks again for the routine.. Respect as always.. Shane.
Respectful of you Stripey, to mention the passing of Bruce's sister Agnes. My condolences also to the Lee family. The nunchaku routine is a stunner and makes much more sense to me, including that pesky reverse grip - you know what I mean -lol.
My heart goes out to the Lee family and deepest condolences at this time, bless them 🙏🏻. Thank you again Stripey for the link to buying (The Cream Of Bruce Lee Review Book). It's a fantastic book and have loved reading every minute of it. 😀 The Enter The Dragon routine is brilliant mate, I love it. With the reverse grip on the left hand I've done it bringing across your hips but funny enough I don't think I've done the bit where you bring it up over the left shoulder bouncing off the back of it with palm facing outwards. The very beginning bit as well when you hold the chucks eye line, swinging it to the left hip in a reverse grip. I just practiced it and I can do it. 😄 I definitely want to practice all the nunchacku routines you've show cased. Looking forward to your live videos. I'm home from work at 2:30pm. 3-6pm would be the best as I watch something with either my dad or family altogether from 7pm onwards most nights but I'm sure they wouldn't mind making time for me to be able to watch you from 7pm or 7:30 onwards if that's when you decide to present it. 😉 Good luck with that dude. 😎
@Luke63Ultra cheers, mate. I'm glad you're enjoying the Cream of BLR book. It's awesome 👌 The ETD routine is fairly simple to do. My advice (for what it's worth) tey to get the moves smooth, and the speed will come. Keep practicing, pal 👍🏻
Hey Stripey, thanks for nunchuck training video, I used to do a lot of those moves, about 25 years ago when I was actively training in Martial Arts, but I have never actually tried to learn the exact Bruce Lee routine from the movie. So I will get out my home made nunchucks and give it a go. I am sure I will get a sore head too before mastering it! Also just wanted to thank you for showcasing that book “The cream of BLR”. As it was so reasonably priced I used the link straight away after watching your video, and mine was delivered last week. But I never realised it would be a limited run! So thanks again as without your video I wouldn’t have even known about the book. Keep up the great work Stripey!
@ I forgot to say, how cool the book is. So much information on Bruce Lee in such a reasonably priced book, ideal for someone like me on a limited budget! I will let you know how I get on with the routine. I have covered my home made wooden nunchucks with foam until I am as good as you! lol Although as it is only a cord between the two, and not the chain with swivels, they don’t behave as good as my other pair I had to leave in Canada!lol. Anyway thanks again, and I look forward to your live feed soon. Always such great content Stripey. You are such an asset to the Bruce Lee community!👍Cheers mate!
That was good of u Stripey to mention the sad news about Agnes Lee Chan passing away an very well put as well😔🪦🙏. Wow u are very good with those nunchukus that u could teach others how to use them as it would save others hurting themselves too. That's something to look forward to going live as well hope u get a good time slot to suit the UK Europe an USA. Great video as always Stripey 🐉🥋 😎👍🏴

Thank you Stripey, Excellent Video and the technique looks correct to me. I remember a friend of mine in school in Metal Shop class made two pairs of solid aluminium chucks they were very long about 14 inches by 1 inch wide each and very heavy - They didn’t have swivels ( I don’t think anyone’s did back then) but had welded upside down U’s with about a nine inch chain in the middle and the U’s were welded to 2 inch bolts screwed into the top of each chuck. We had No instruction except for the ETD movie and so when you messed up - and hit your own knee or side of your head it was painful and taught you to be more careful. . . But they were fun.
Thank you, mate. I think the routine is correct. We all had home made chucks, back in the day. I had a set of heavy metal telescopic nunchaku (they really hurt if you wasn't careful) Cheers Pal 👍
Phew!, I thought I had lost mine (Book). It hasn't arrived yet though. A great routine with the Nunchuks. I have tried this with Mine. And they are Perfect for It like Yours. Hi MR Stripster. Watch your Bruce Lee videos all the time. I'd like to comment on the nunchaku video from Enter. Fans do know that part of the scene is shown TWICE don't they? During the climax battle we see the SAME scenes with Lee and Saxon A few times. Some were close up and edited. Keep up the good work as usual and I'd like to know ''WOT SURE SNILE? Thanks, Pal. I've done a video on Bruce's nunchaku routine, it's defiantly the same shot filmed from two angles. You're "Parsons" impression made me laugh outload 😆I've read it about 4 times "SHOW MI SUNOVIT" 🤣😂 too funny 👍

Hi stripey great routine mate well done. And yes all. Our condolences to the lee family for there loss. 🙏 Stripey the guy that did you your nunchakus god and etd ones, are for ordering or do have to get in touch with him via email to arrange something. 👍
I think just to psychologically eff with your opponent, instead of employing that patented Stripey grimace during the routine, put on a nice big smile as if your opponent is gifting you with a teddy bear. 🧸
I do FMA and we all have tales of smashed lamps, vases and angry mothers. Btw, chucks are a crap weapon but a lot of fun and nobody ever forgets their first bang pn the back of their head.

I first of all I like to say congrats on your replica routine of Bruce lee with the nunchaku, for i’am a bruce nunchaku enthusiast myself since the early 80’s, but at this stage I’m more focused on his strikes by hitting a target and it’s impact in practical combat. There is a quote by Bruce, ‘take what is useful and discard what is unuseful’ in which I came to understand and appreciate. So no, I don’t try to imitate Bruce every move, for that is his fancy display before he actually strikes with precision, speed and power. To be honest I started out trying to imitate Bruce but lost interest after failed attempts and in the interim of that era became involved in actual fights I had to rely on certain strikes I had learned of bruce’s style of which I only knew the basics back then but have come to be proficient at today.

I think slo mo makes it easier to follow.

Hi Mate, Thank you. @reload5082 is the guy who made the chucks for me. 👍
Wow
Great Job 👍, any time that works for you, I'll be there.
Thank you 👍🏻
Looks good to me mate. Another great video. Tried chucks a couple of times, just kept whacking myself.
Thank you, bud. Maybe invest in a practice set. We all whack ourselves from time to time 🤦♂
Cheers Pal 👍
I think just to psychologically eff with your opponent, instead of employing that patented Stripey grimace during the routine, put on a nice big smile as if your opponent is gifting you with a teddy bear. 🧸
An interesting idea 😆
I do FMA and we all have tales of smashed lamps, vases and angry mothers.
Btw, chucks are a crap weapon but a lot of fun and nobody ever forgets their first bang pn the back of their head.
If ever they remake Enter The Dragon heaven forbid.
You're in as one of Hans guards.
🤣😅
Cool look forward to it .try stick same time and day so.people have regular spot look.forward to .7pm good me as i up work most days 2 in morn afterwoods take care
Cheers pal, good tip. Cheers 👍🏻
A question I have is do you watch chuck Norris movies.
For the record those where not wooden nunchucks. They where foam chucks.
Been practicing, uh.. 😉
