I had applied for a State Govt job last year and i didn't have any hope to even get through the selection process. I was busy working at a private firm with less pay. I am an orphan and was kicked out from my own sister's place at mid night to live on the streets, So I took a room on rent and I was worried if I could survive with a penny for a salary , I was afraid and scared. I had to pay my rent, bills and food , So I had no time to prepare for the job . Few weeks later I received a message saying that I've been selected for the examination and interview. I went there did the examination, cleared it and got through the panel interview aswell. I'm now working there. Its all thanks to God and my parents for blessing me. You have a chance! What's done is done. You still have multiple calls ahead of you! Crack them, ace them! Let go of BLACKI, we can come to it once all interviews are done. Higher the cat % , higher are your chances of cracking a good college. Just remember, you can't change your old grades. Make up for it with good % in Cat

I gave the honest answer - it was Covid that disrupted the market and that one year, searching for a job, fresh out of college (2020 grad) was a struggle that taught me a lot. I turned it into a positive thing in my interview.

@@growwithbro01 you can start cat prep whenever you feel the need to. It depends on your level in quants, VARC and lrdi. As far as coaching is concerned, I took mine from Unacademy, so I don't know much about these coaching centres and I don't want to give you incorrect advice
What was ur academic score? Like tenth, twelvth, graduation marks, and also are you a fresher? Are you an Engineer or a Non Engineer? And what category are you in? General?
I have good academics...but I pursued my bachelor's in distance education...what effect it may have for my selection....and one more doubt is whether will i be able to complete my mba without any backlogs?
As long as it's a valid bachelor's degree from a proper institute, it doesn't matter. As far as backlogs are concerned, I can't really comment on whether you'd be able to handle MBA or not. I don't know you well 🤷🏻♂️
Internships cannot be counted as formal work experience but you can formally work for your father's business. But again, your field of interest also matters

For us it was online. It was a submission, not a timed essay. It wasn't a WAT. So even in the future, it will be like a college essay where you'll probably have a week to submit it (time may vary)

@@Aman_Singh285 honestly, jitna zyada English mein baat karoge, utna easy hota rahega. Plus try repeating things you hear. Find a few youtubers and learn the pacing, pronunciation etc of how they speak. Or if you have someone who can correct your grammer, that helps! It's all about practice tho!

Hey Man! Honestly, if you've decided to crack CAT then instead of targetting B Schools, you should target a 99%. Because you never know when a B School changes its selection criteria and which schools decide to call you for interview. So don't worry about things you can't control. Do your best in CAT, try getting as high a % and then convert the best call you have

You cannot change them and so do not spend another second worrying about the past (your acads) Every second you waste worrying about your acads is a second you could have used to study for CAT and increase your % But lastly, 8/7/8 is not low acads! It's pretty decent. I know people at IIMs with a 6 in either 10/12/grad so if they can do it, so can you
Yes bro! It's not a necessity. Formal wear is important tho! So a shirt and tie will be great if you don't have a blazer. Just make sure you're presentable. And if you can borrow a blazer/rent it! It's even better!
I'm always of the belief that if you get a call for interview, you have a 100% chance of converting it. It all depends on your interview giving skills..... I have an ultimate guide to cracking GDPI on my channel. Everything I did to crack me interviews is out there. All the best
