I was worried for a moment when you walked right past the baby rattlers without saying anything. But then you went back and I had to delete a comment. 🤣 Knott's is definitely one of the best. Perfect combination of classic and modern. I wish Lakeside here in Colorado could figure that out. So much history in both.
Jaguar is my kind of roller coaster..nice and slow 🥰 The only one I would ride in knotts lol. I went many times in the late 70s and 80s and it was so different back then. None of these rollercoasters existed and there was theming in the middle of the park instead of rollercoaster tracks everywhere. Thank goodness the Ghost Town, Log ride and Calico Train are still there 😊 Miss the Can Can show in the Calico Saloon.
My brother and I went on the Super Scream next to the Accelerator, we could see the whole city to the Horizon! It was So Cool!! I Love Knott's Berry Farm!
Hi Chris. Your Puns put my Boysenberry treats into Knotts. Thank you for bringing us along for a Fun Day. You, Amanda, and Miles are Amazing. Stay Positive and keep the Puns coming. 👍🏼😎
Our spring break vacation is coming up in 16 days! We are so excited! Going to Knott’s in between Disneyland & Universal. Our first time visiting California! Thanks for the videos!
I love KBF! I consider it a full day park. You hit most of the thrilling/fun rides. I have to go on the log ride. My family loves that horrible Sidewinder ride. I always love when you take us to Knotts. Thanks, Chris!
Between the 2 parks Knott’s is hands down my favorite amusement park. Actually my favorite amusement park in Southern CA. Disney is bigger and has a lot more rides but all the rides there are (what I like to say) very tamed. Even some of their “big rides” are very tamed with very little thrill in my opinion. But with Knott’s there’s less rides but more of a variety. It really does have something for everybody. You like big thrill rides like me? You’re covered. Like roller coasters but nothing too intense, no problem they got good smaller coasters (especially Sierra Sidewinder). Like water rides? They got a decent water rapids that you don’t get all that wet on but the theming of it is gorgeous though and then you got Timber Mountain Log Ride which isn’t as good as Splash Mountain WAS but still good and actually served as an inspiration for Splash Mountain. They got good flat rides and dark rides. Good shows and good food. And without a doubt no theme park does Haunted theming around Halloween time better than Knott’s Scary Farm.
Hello Chris!! I've not been to Knotts in years. The last time I was there my oldest son was 2 years old. Maybe I'll have to go visit the park again some day. I do recall most of the food I had had there was oh so good. That boysenberry drink you had did look like it'd be delicous. Thanks for sharing your time there with us.
Xcelerator was Intamin's first hydraulically-launched roller coaster, which uses pressurized oil and a series of hydraulic fluid chambers to rapidly propel a coaster train along a straight section of track. It is not an LSM or LIM that utilizes electromagnetics
Oh my Gosh! Gavin is there! He's the best. I'm star struck. I have an autographed book of his. ( You're the best too!) I remember when Knotts had Seals you could feed in the Mexican Village.
For those that don’t know. The peanuts comics don’t own KBF but Knotts parent company, Cedar Fair bought the rights to use the peanuts IP in many of their theme parks. Also I work as a ride operator for xcelerator way back in the day. The best seats are the very front (for speed) and the very back (for more G force) so I can attest to that.
I recently discovered your channel, and I love it! I 1st I watched your tron action figure build. Great voice acting btw! Thanks for the amazing and uplifting videos! They have really helped me through some tough times! Thank you!
I haven't been to Knott's Berry farm in such a long time. What I do remember about my last trip there was seeing Sad Eye Joe and I got to speak with him and he was excellent. I have been on that Pony themed roller coaster but all the other ones, I have not gotten to experience since then. I'm very overdue for a Knott's trip.
Hey Chris you should show magic mountian some love if you are branching out from disney and universal. Dave @freshbaked said he was going soon you should see if you can join him. Theme parks are better with friends.
When I was a kid, almost every time we went to Disneyland, we would get our hand stamped and leave around 5pm to go to Knotts for Mrs Knotts Chicken Dinner Restaurant. Would eat, go back to Disneyland for the rest of the night!
I haven't been to Knott's since I was a kid. Waiting for my boys to get tall enough for the big coasters and we'll be there! They are thrilled junkies and will be very put out if they can't ride the big ones!
Aloha Amazing Chris and crew...FYI that guys heart has been beating there in that graveyard since I was a kid..and I am 70 ! I love Knotts and should go sometime when I am there
Xcelerator launch isn't through magnetics, it is actually a hydraulic cable launch. It was the first hydraulic launch coaster that Intimin made, and later they used the same technology to create Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka which are currently the two tallest roller coasters in the world.
It being the first is apparently why the ride took so long to repair, as none of it's parts were made to standard size (heard from an engineer who worked on repairs a few years ago, no idea how to verify it).
I spent my summer days there as a kid and had many a family member dressed as the local bandit rob the train and stage coach back in the day. (Circa mid 1970s). Xcelerator is still one of the best coasters in the US and there is never a long line except on holidays. You can wander in at 2 or 3 in the afternoon on a weekday and stay till the place closes and get a dozen rides in. You can't say that about the house of mouse just down the road....
It's was awesome meeting you and grabbing a picture I appreciate it. It made my day after hearing that Ghost Rider was closed during this visit. So just made a Provost Park Pass kinda of day with a freshing Calico Soda so freaking good. Go San Diego Padres!
Knotts has what 4 thrill coasters, the drop tower, and the break dance? Easy to hit them all in 3 hours even with no skip the line. Maybe take the kids sidewinder safari over silver bullet. It is much more intense.
I am excited that I will be going to Knott's in August. First time going with my brother and I. I would like to add that they might allow glasses with a strap, but Knott's might have a stricter policy. Since Knott's is owned by Cedar Fair and Cedar Point allows glasses with a strap they probably will allow it.
I remember field trips to Knott’s to study California history and panning for gold. On the way out, we would go to Independence Hall to see the re-creation of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Is that still a part of Knott’s? Montezuma’s Revenge was the first thrill ride at Knott’s and, if I’m not mistaken, it was the first looping coaster.
I have not been at Knotts Berry Farm for many years as I literally hate roller coasters (at Disney I anxiously ride the elevator, although I enjoy it afterwards, as well as falling at Splash Mountain):, the only thing I liked was a very very classic and slow stagecoach ride ans well as a gravity defying magic cabin (I loved it at age 7). As Chris says, their food is delicious, every time we go to Disney, we try to eat the chicken and mermelade from Knotts. Greetings from Mexico !!
Chris you need to get out to NJ to six flags great adventure to try the kingda ka, currently worlds tallest and fastest toaster in the world 455 feet high with accompanying drop tower, just as high..
Looking for Value for the family. Could you do a video on the one day ticket food program at Knott's Berry Farm. I think its like one A la carte meal every 90 minutes?
Back in 2001, I had a ZX-9R, far too much motorcycle for me and sold it a couple of years later. Accelerator probably comes close to the launch of that motorcycle.
Honestly Knot's Scary Farm is the one place I would make an exception to go to because I don't like crowds. Sadly medical issues will keep me from traveling those kinds of distances.
The rides that you have to leave all your belongings in a locker are becoming very common it seems. My son carries a handheld medical device and needs emergency medication with him at all times. 2 minutes would 'probably' be fine but we all know rides get stopped or delayed. Did they have exceptions to keep a few items on your person while you ride?
I’m a snoopy fan first time I went, I’ve seen snoopy went to hug him like a lil kid. my brother made fun of me. That was my first time in knots had a great time. Did they still have snoopy popcorn buckets?
You cannot do all of Knott's in one day on the weekend or during a busy festival or event. The lines are ridiculous, mostly due to poor queue management and, you guessed it, fast lane. I went to Knott's during the down season of late February on the last weekend of the month. It was INSANELY packed.
These videos are great. You should really stop promoting Disney they aren't what they used to be. All they want is money. Unless of course you're going to Japan since TDR isn't owned by Disney.
I keep saying “Ghostrider, never again”, but at 63 it’s still such a great adventure! Camp Snoopy a wonderful place for small kids.
When at Knotts it’s a must to have Ms Knotts Chicken for dinner… the bread with the boysenberry jam and the best fried chicken
Padres fan/custodial jon here...was good meeting you on this day chris...you made our day
The holiday decor in Camp Snoopy is always elite ⭐️
I was worried for a moment when you walked right past the baby rattlers without saying anything. But then you went back and I had to delete a comment. 🤣 Knott's is definitely one of the best. front car for xcelerator makes the launch so fun, but the crazy ejector in the back row when you fly over the top hat is hard to beat
Rolly Crump actually designed the original Bear-y Tales 😁
My brother and I went on the Super Scream next to the Accelerator, we could see the whole city to the Horizon! It was So Cool!! I Love Knott's Berry Farm!
Just started this video but i hope you enjoyed your time st Knott's. I always love the mine train
Hi Chris. Your Puns put my Boysenberry treats into Knotts. Thank you for bringing us along for a Fun Day. You, Amanda, and Miles are Amazing. Stay Positive and keep the Puns coming. 👍🏼😎
Chris i love your Dad jokes. My husband loved them and would send Dad jokes to our grown children everyday
Our spring break vacation is coming up in 16 days! We are so excited! Going to Knott’s in between Disneyland & Universal. Our first time visiting California! Thanks for the videos!
16:08 i wear they have a calico mine ride miner helmet and i get this joke all the time your humor is quiet gold! ⛏
I love KBF! I consider it a full day park. You hit most of the thrilling/fun rides. I have to go on the log ride. My family loves that horrible Sidewinder ride. I always love when you take us to Knotts. Thanks, Chris!

The times I’ve been to Knott’s it was so busy I didn’t get to ride everything I wanted to, so I’m jealous! Looks so fun!
Jaguar is a classic!

You are very brave! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you 🤗
I remember when I was a kid back in the 70's Knotts had a slow coaster Horse race ride thing. It was cool, in my memories anyways :)
Steeplechase.
So much fun love the mine train i m always afraid its not going to make it back out....but it does
Hey Chris you should show magic mountian some love if you are branching out from disney and universal. Dave @freshbaked said he was going soon you should see if you can join him. Theme parks are better with friends.
The burrito 🌯 from Casa California is soooo good

The Berry Factory one use to be this one called, "Kingdom of the Dinosaurs."
The Calico River ride use to be called "Bigfoot Rapids"
You are JUST going to have to let your little boy legs, inside your body, out! when you just MUST RUN!
🤣

It’s when you see parks like Knotts that you realise just how good the theming is at Disney.
Thank you Sir
This was a fun video to watch. Snoopy and you were so cute. I saw a real brown bear eating fish in Alaska on an excursion. Love your videos 🐻😍💙💚
The first time the rode HangTime I was the only person on the ride 😳
I thought I was going to die alone 😂
I’m going to have to try the boysenberry cream soda!
Is the stage coach ride thrilling? You bet like the canoes ❤❤

I’m a Knott’s pass holder and I love it 💜
My husband loved Knotts and he was my Disney love. My husband went to sunday school in the wagon camp. That was a bit ago.
Knotts is very under rated!!! The log ride is the best!
Chris you need to get out to NJ to six flags great adventure to try the kingda ka, currently worlds tallest and fastest toaster in the world 455 feet high with accompanying drop tower, just as high..
You should do knotts soak city and independence hall
More challenges love it
It was nice to get a peek at the mission models in the background! Have you done a look into those? Such lovely works of art.
Love Knott's Scary Farm
I have the meal pass and I end up getting Panda Express and maybe a burger at Sutter’s Grill. Yeah, the food isn’t that great 😆
Jaguar is a loud coaster 🎢
Baby rattlers! 😂
thanks for the tip regarding teens and the rides.
Looking for Value for the family. Could you do a video on the one day ticket food program at Knott's Berry Farm. I think its like one A la carte meal every 90 minutes?
This might not be your cup of tea but I would love to learn more about any hauntings in the park. Does Walt come back to supervise? Just a thought
I'm about to go there in a week and I'm so excited
#4 👍 one of these days I hope to be the first. Good job @germanbeardguy
Bring back Soap Box Racers!
Sliver bullet is my favorite ride at Knott’s super fun!
It seemed out of place hearing the keyboard playing in the mine.. it must have been an early attempt at an organ transplant 😁
I love Knott's Berry Farm!! Our family is going in 3 weeks!!
How do their rides compare to Sea World's? My teens loved those for their first "thrill" ride experience.
The rides that you have to leave all your belongings in a locker are becoming very common it seems. My son carries a handheld medical device and needs emergency medication with him at all times. 2 minutes would 'probably' be fine but we all know rides get stopped or delayed. As long as you can fit it in your pocket you should be fine
Thank you!
I’m a snoopy fan first time I went, I’ve seen snoopy went to hug him like a lil kid. my brother made fun of me. That was my first time in knots had a great time. Did they still have snoopy popcorn buckets?
I hate the big drop ride. Only did it once that was enough and I love big coasters
WHITTLES!!!!
A lot of those rides weren’t going when we went last year. Here’s to hoping that they won’t be when we go.🤞

Kntts Berry Farm Love my favorite one fan BIG 💖
I thought Knotts food sucked lol. I do like that chicken place though
I rode accelerator like 15 years ago and it lasted long enough for me to scream “OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS” only I didn’t use freaking.
Go!
Woa
First! We are Disneyland go-ers - next month will mark our first visit to Disney WORLD for us - What would you say is the best thing to do there?
Go to Universal
These videos are great. You should really stop promoting Disney they aren't what they used to be. All they want is money.
Unless of course you're going to Japan since TDR isn't owned by Disney.
Im not boyensberry fan🫢 but i will try i need to go to knotts
