Wrong installation of valve stem..valve seat and disc must lap before reinstall..rubber gasket must not have grease..no safety..poor workmanship..

Agreed my friend if you can strip a valve down as intrusive as this then you have enough time to lap seats and blue the gate again. Rather do it properly first time but yes that is just my own opinion.
