In this video, Pastor Debola Deji-Kurunmi reiterates the mind of God concerning our spiritual growth. Taking her cue from the book of 2 Peter 1 verses 1- 11, she emphasises the provisions made to participate in the divine nature and the believer's personal responsibility to add qualities upon qualities into this nature. She paints an analogy on the difference between a four-year-old and twenty-four-year-old male thus, making a case for spiritual growth.
She highlights and expounds on five principles and practices to incorporate in order to aid the process of growth and she succinctly describes seven things we are to do with the word of God.

How do I grow spiritually
1.) Loving the Lord - carrying a desire, a longing for the Lord. Matt 22:24
Your Soul is the seat for your will, emotions, memory, knowledge
2. The Pursuit of transformation through the study of the Word. The saint needs transformation. The sinner needs salvation. 2 Cor 3:17-18. James 1
Pray, Study, meditate on, read, confess, obey, preach the Word of God
You must apply what you learn in the Word of God. Love the Word so you can become the Word.
3. Power of time investment.
Consistent time investment.
Luke 6:12, Isaiah 55:6
What you invest your time, money and mind into will determine the kind of future you enter into. Fellowship with the saints, serve, study the scripture, spend time to pray
4. Belong to a spiritual community. Acts 2:1-4, Hebrews 6:12. Have those who pray over you and with you
5. Weighty intercessions and prayers - Ephesians 1:16-19
Pray in the spirit and in understanding
Pray scriptures
Pray along the lines of what you are currently experiencing. Pray through.
Intercessions fast track your spiritual growth.
