Is Punjabi taught in Pakistani schools, Do Pakistani Punjabis speak Punjabi in their homes with kids?
These two parameters decide how Punjabi as a language is treated in Pakistan. Pakistani Punjabis have abandoned their *MOTHER PUNJABI* for an alien *MOHAJIR URDU*
Pakistani Punjabis can get Shahmukhi Punjabi implemented in Punjabi schools within 1 day if they declare one day strike in favour of Punjabi as they control Pakistan being 55% of the population. Why they are not demanding implementation of Punjabi is beyond me. Pakistan’s definition has been supposedly defined by *DEOBAND UP* based clerics which have nothing in common with Punjabi culture & history. In fact there is a history of 300 years of bitter enmity between *PUNJABIS & UP WALE* this is the main reason behind the systematic decline & destruction of Punjabi language & culture in Pakistani Punjab

yes i have studied punjabi (shah-mukhi) as language in my F.A and B.A (i am punjabi speaker by birth)
in villages in schools teacher and students also speaks punjabi
in villages almost everyone speaks punjabi at homes and outside of homes.
Urdu is our national language
but punjabi is our mother language
and there is no way punjabi language will face downfall in pakistani punjab ....simply no way 😛

You studied Punjabi because you *CHOSE* it it was not *COMPULSORY*
In villages - Where people are illiterate there is Punjabi where education comes the *ONLY & FIRST* goal is to eliminate Punjabi by terming it as *PAINDU*
