- Hello everyone! Thanks for tuning in. I’m doing an ocean swipe with my palette knife today. This was so fun and I’m in love with these colors. I hope you enjoy!
Materials I used in this demonstration:
18x24 Gallery Wrapped Canvas
DecoArt Extreme Sheen: Sapphire, 24 Carat Gold, Bronze
Art Alchemy: Teal Blue
Amsterdam: Turquoise Blue, Turquoise Green & Titanium White
Golden Fluid: Prussian Blue, Manganese Blue Hue, Ultramarine
Light Blue (from previous pour drippings)
Pouring Medium:
Golden GAC 800 25%
Floetrol 75%
No silicone used for cells. It was all the layering of the paints that made those cool effects.

Cathie Perry thank you Cathie. I appreciate your comments alway!!
I love this paining so much. I’m going to go paint one myself right now! Love you Tara.🥰
Aww. Thank you Linda! I hope you have success. That is one of my favorites! 🙏🏻☺️❤️
Nice job Tara 😊🙌🏻🎨
Thank you Cathleen. It is so calming. 💙🌊🎨
Beautiful Pour. I love the saturated blues against the lighter blues, and the little cells create a bubble effect that makes the shore looks like it's really washing up against the beach. Really unique piece 👌😊 -Best of luck on your art and your channel, and much support from one artist to another. Liked and subbed.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Pouring art is fun but it really is enjoyable to take my time with a painting. Thanks for subscribing! I’ll check out your channel! ☺️🌊
Tara, looks serene and beautiful 😍 Your attention to detail is amazing! You just won't give up on those white caps!
Thank you Cindy. I really appreciate the compliment. At the time I didn’t realize that white was a weighty paint and would sink...I couldn’t figure out why every time I put paint there it would shrink to nothing... now I love that about white paint! ❤️
I really enjoyed watching this one. I love how you changed it to be calmer seas. Would be fun to see one with rough seas! Beautiful as always 😘
Thanks Lo! I can make that happen! 🌊😘
cool
Thanks Ian...😘
What's the best acyrllic paint to use?
Hi Leslie! It really depends on your budget and the techniques you are wanting to do. I prefer to use higher quality paints because I can use less and they are more vibrant. My favorites for what I do are Golden Fluids, Amsterdam, Pebeo Studios $ Pourage Posse Paints. I love the This Little Piggy Pigments if I am working with Pigments. Hope this helps! 🙏🏻☺️❤️
