      Thanks for watching!!
      You buy a multi pack ie 10 tickets, each ticket is good for one way.
      So you’ll get 5 return trips out of a 10 pack of that makes sense?

    Hi there, I am visiting Disneyland in November. Can I ask, did you have to take a day 2 test on your second day back in the UK? Love the video!

    • @Benandkirstyhere
      @Benandkirstyhere  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes we did.
      Test before we came back and then on day 2.
      We also needed a day 8 as France was still Amber+ when we came back.
      Hopefully by the time you go, things have improved!

    What tests and proof did you have to give to go with the Covid stuff? Was it straightforward? 😊

    • @Benandkirstyhere
      @Benandkirstyhere  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Relatively…
      We are double jabbed so you need to take your COVID passport, which has a qr code. However, the qr codes never scanned which was slightly nerve wracking, but once we pointed out the dates of both jabs it was fine. However, this was almost to the point of argument each time. I found the female assistants were much more switched on and aware of the situation.
      Apparently the french system is not linked to ours so even though there is a code to scan they don’t work.
      At least they didn’t when we were there.
      If you haven’t had both jabs, then you will need to get COVID tests whilst you are out there and I believe each test lasts for 2 days. They are also quite pricey.
      We needed to get one of these tests to come back to the uk. You can’t take tests from home it needs to be one from France. Someone was refused at passport control for only having a test they brought with them from the UK. They check that every adult has an appropriate test.
      There’s a test centre beside the cinema in the Disney village. I recommend booking this in advance as we tried the evening before and there wasn’t any slots available so we had to stay another day! Which was great, but meant we had to change Eurostar to pay for another night in the hotel!
      It sounds like a bit of a fuss, but now we know what we are doing we are heading out again in October.
      So it didn’t put us off haha!
      I have set up a Facebook group called ‘Disney Parks Chat’ please feel free to join.

      @@Benandkirstyhere Wow thanks so much for this detailed reply! I really appreciate that, as we're hoping to head over in a couple of weeks and it's something I've worried about.
      Did you have to do any tests before you went out? And which test did you pick in Disney Village, was the antigen one (the cheaper one!) sufficient to get home?
      I'm a little (A LOT) worried about being turned around at passport control, the experience of that person you described would have been my worst nightmare - but upside, you had an extra day!
      I'm already also considering a trip in October, but will see how this one does first, haha! Brilliant - I'll check that out now. Really enjoyed your vlog, thank you for posting it! 😊

      @@twentytwofortyone5264 no problem at all. I was quite nervous before we went! I believe it was antigen test. There’s two, one was 40 the other was 90ish. We had the 40 euro one. Receive an email within half an hour with the result.
      Thank you, we are glad you enjoyed the video.
      We are still very new to this, but really enjoy sharing our trips!
      There will be new videos every Friday for the next couple of months.
