Come join me as I do a little Summer refresh in my bedroom. I’ll be redoing g my colonial bed curtains, rearranging some of my furniture while using g antiques and primitives to decorate with.

If any of your viewers are considering purchasing the Brooklinen sheets do not hesitate, they are the absolute best. I prefer their Luxe Sateen.
I had family who stayed overnight and the next morning they wanted to know where I got the sheets. The next Christmas they got a set as a gift.
I have also purchased fabric from Co Co B at a reasonable price.
I’ve heard those sheets are amazing too, think it’s time to get a set!

I use buffalo check( tavern check) all the time...(Williamsburg style!)
Anyway I have a pencil post bed in my spare bedroom but since small, I feel the fabric as you have done would close it in!

I love it. Just beautiful especially love the cabinet design with the pewter and of course the new curtains. Love it all. I am checking into those sheets too. I try to tell my husband it is okay to put pottery and plates in any room in the home. I laughed so hard when you said husbands don’t like pillows, so true! God Bless them, they let us do what want.

It all looks very very nice Bridgett.....the dilemma that I always find myself in when refreshing a look.....since I often fall in love with where I put certain things...I realize those same things would look good in other places, but then what on earth do I replace them with when I move them.....I suppose if I just had an abundance of everything I like, then I could figure something out, but when I buy an antique, I want it on display,..not in storage. Anyway...it's a big challenge for me to move things around. I had to chuckle when the hubby gets involved in helping us in our whims....I think they are all the same....they just do it to humor us. LOL
Deanna I always get a little overwhelmed when I start moving things gas around because I get used to it a certain way. The whole house gets destroyed too!😳 Yes, our husbands and the “looks” that mine gives me!😂

Love what you’ve done, looks great! I had to chuckle when you said about husbands and pillows 😂, mine just shakes his bald head and says why do we have pillows we can’t sleep on? I have those same set of books and refer to them often, love them! I love that tall cabinet and exactly what I’m looking for for my pewter and old leather books.
