Nuestra Señora del Santisimo del Rosario - La Naval de Manila, pray for the Philippine coastgaurd and for the West Philippine Sea, please protect just like you have did when the dutch came to invade our country, And may you pray peace for China and Philippines, Amen.
This is perhaps the most elegant and the most interestingly nostalgic rendition of the Despedida a la Virgen that I had ever heard. it seems that the rendition and the arrangement of the orchestra and the Choir, both Tiples and the Santo Domingo Male Chorale, brings to mind those romantic and elegant days when the La Gran Senora was processioned on the streets of Intramuros during the La Naval festivities. And the voices. . . . it seems as if the thousands of devotees -- the old Manilenos, lovers of the Old City who lived centuries ago and had knelt in the Old Santo Domingo Church of intramuros -- and even the Capitan de Fuerza Naval, the SPanish Naval forces and even the Governador-General is singing this immortal tribute to the LA Gran Senora for helping them defend the Islands from the Dutch Invasion. . . . Such a nostalgic piece of memory that we never had, but resounds when we hear this immortal hymn .
