    Do I need to remain the elements on the table permanently, or can I put them into box, and lay them out when I use the altar?

    • @BronxWitch
      @BronxWitch  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi dear, you can absolutely do that! My first altar was kept wrapped in cloth under the bed and when I wanted to use it I would lay everything out on top of it on the floor. Your altar is your sacred space, it doesn't have to be set up or even used the way others do. Hope that helps. Blessed be!

    How do you use an alter?

    • @BronxWitch
      @BronxWitch  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Aaron, I discussed this in the video. Depends on the type of altar. Some are for deity worship/honoring, some are for ancestral honoring, some are seasonal to honor the Sabbats or seasonal energy, some are "working altars" for basically everything else. This video is about setting up a working altar. And on a working altar, you work lol. Cleanse items, cast spells, conduct rituals, pray, etc. My recommendation- don't set up an altar until you have a reason to have one. The worst thing you can do is set it up just to watch it cast dust. You'll know if and when you need one. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

    Why Wicca & not something closer to your ethnic heritage? Why any religion at all? Just curious.

      Hi there! I've actually addressed these questions and more like it a few times, so to make it easier for us both here is a link to a video where I talk about how I came to Wicca. I encourage you to also take a read through the comments on this video also as other folks had similar questions. th-cam.com/video/empov0eEqEs/w-d-xo.html
      Also fyi I'm taking a break from this channel for the month of April and won't be responding to more comments until I come back in May. So if you respond, I won't get back to you until then. Just didn't want you to think I was being rude! Thanks for watching! Blessed be! th-cam.com/video/UlaCHEzyi1Y/w-d-xo.html

      @Live Life this is such an offensive question. And then you’re making assumptions about someone’s ethnicity. Nope, not okay.

      In response to your subtle racist question, we wiccans believe in this thing called Reincarnation. In other words, we weren't always the same gender. We didn't always have the same ethnic background. I'm Latino in this lifetime. I might be white in the next lifetime. Or I might be black in the next lifetime. If a woman of African-decent wants to study wicca (which STARTED as a revival of western European pagan practices, mostly Celtic, in other words, Wicca was NOT founded on "cultural appropriation"), it's ok. I'm not white, and I'm a proud Wiccan.
