    I'm a 54 year old man from the flattest part of southwest Oklahoma and I had an encounter. I still have a hard time believing what I saw so close to me. I am the only report in Tillman county on BFRO website. They are in places you wouldn't think. Thank you for your channel. It is awesome we get to hear other experienced people tell their story

    The BEST documentary I’ve seen on Oklahoma Bigfoot is the Bigfootville episode with Cindy Bear. Sure wish I knew rich muddy boggy they were at in Adair county. Guarantee it was around Grand Lake O The Cherokees tho. I camp up there a lot but I don’t think Bigfoot are entering state park campgrounds.

    I “know” intellectually believing is just not enough to believe but to see and experience for me was not a comfortable experience I assure you. It seemed territorial and it wanted me somewhere else 💯. Going out in the woods for me…I have become very much more aware of my surroundings believe me.

      I had a somewhat similar experience, and I didnt even see it. Didnt have to. It screamed/ roared at me and my friend from across a mudbog for what felt like a real long time. I could feel the force of the moving air in my body.
      I remember thinking immediately " Oh my goodness, bigfoot is real. That is a sasquatch!"
      Because it had to be.
      I am a country person, born and raised in this rural local, and have NEVER experienced anything like it.
      The message was in my head, GET OUT OF MY TERRITORY.
      Could be that a scream is a univeral conveyance of this stance, or perhaps it did send a message to my empathic mind center. I dont know.
      Always thought I believed, but I never expected to experience a run in with one.
      No one believes me.
      As if I havent spent my life telljng the truth even when it did not benefit me.
      Know what it is?
      People dont want to believe. They are scared witless and will reject a friend/ family memeber/ loved one rather than deal with reality.

    My brothers and I had an encounter with three of these big foot when we were just children. They never harmed us. They ae NOT evil. They are just wild animals. Humans often wander into their territory and scare them first. I believe that they are shy animals. My brother Shannon was running down a game trail, tripped and did a face plant right into the chest of a female big foot that was squatting while using the bathroom. He landed right in her "what he called her boobs" face first! They were hairy, and his legs were kicking up in the air. She gently picked him up, and looked into his eyes, and tried to smile at him. He was scared at the time. Now some 50 years later, talking about it, he laughs, and says", it is like she was grining at me, and trying to be kind. She was gentle, and set me back on the ground so easily. It me that was terrified."
    Meanwhile, his identical twin brother had run smack dab into a smaller male big foot that was peeing on a tree. He thought, how rude, a naked hairy man going to the bathroom in public. "Mom taught us not to do that." He was about to say something to this very hairy naked man, when he saw how big the penis was and it scared him. My brothers were only 9 years old, developmentally disabled and learning disabled. Both of them were crying, and running back down the game trail that they had taken exploring. As they had their encounters, I was having my own. A staring match with a large 9 foot or 10 foot tale, male big foot, probably the Daddy of the group. He was standing by a tree, leaning on it. I saw his long arms and hands and fingers. I realized it was not a bear. At first did not know what I was looking at. I was just 12 years old. I did not have a clue. I was shocked, but fascinated rooted to one spot, continued watching this thing, which made no agressive moves toward me. Then when my brothers came running past me, and then later a white taied deer, I got spooked and decided it was time to leave. Our parents did not believe we saw any hairy creatures. But it did freak out my mom that all the forest creatures had stopped making noises, no bird sounds, no cricket sounds, everything had fallen dead silent. She convinced my dad to end our tail gate picnic and leave the area.
    Three days later it was reported on the news that there were witnesses (not us) but workers from the Corps of Engineers and hunters that had seen BIG Foot and it's tracks of multiple creatures in the area. This was in 1974--in the Mt. Hood National Forest near the undevelped area of what is now Lost Lake--a modern camping and day use area today in 2024.
    We had other encounters at the Pacifc Coastal Rain Forest--where we accidentaly fed one, never saw it, but heard the tree knocking, and whoop whoops and we accidentally through our naivete' and ignorance communicated with it. We did not know. As curious children we had hiked into a restricted area to get a better view of the beach/ocean. It was a secret place we hiked to every year, twice a year for 10 years. WE thought we were feeding a homeless camper. WE left it peanut butter/jelly sandwiches. It left us rocks/twigs and sea shells, called gifting on a stump, where we left the lunches. I did not realize we were feeding and communicating with a Big Foot until about 50 years later when I watched a documentary on Sasquatch, then it hit me, why this area was dead silent, the strange twisted trees, and all the different stuff we saw, the tree knocking and such. Even the gifting! I was about 8 years old when this started.
    Big Foot or Sasquatch, likes children, as they are not intrusive, we were quiet children, not racious, loud or noisy. We were abused children, and so we were abnormally quiet did not make a lot of racket when we played either. WE treated the forest like it was a church sanctuary. We respected God's creation. I think that this made the difference. WE did not come in with chain saws to cut down the forest. WE gave it food, and were quiet.
    Plus we are Christians too, so God protected us from harm too. I believe that with all my heart. These things are not evil. They just get upset when people threaten them, or frigthen them. Then they go into defense mode like any wild animal. I have heard many wonderful stories of people getting along with them just fine. They care curious creatures and can be destructive with their own curiousity. They are best left alone in their own habitat. If someone buys land, and discovers these creatures are on their land, best to establish a buffer zone of where they hunt and where they roam, and not to interefere with them.
    They will warn you if you encroah upon their terrirtory, problem is most people do not listen.

    5:07 I've personally had 2 possible sightings in oklahoma both very strange but I can't positively say I saw Bigfoot, once early in morning something crossed road just at the end of my headlights the second was mid day I thought I saw my neighbor checking his fence, about 1/2 mile away as I drew closer this thing turns goes up a 4 foot high bank over a tight stretched barb wire fence and disappeared into woods, both these incidents approximately 3 miles apart and a friend of mine had an encounter in same area, my son had experience same year while fall turkey hunt even has a picture of what we believe a foot print, he got spooked and went home, 3 days later he and I went back and had 2 separate things follow us into woods and back out we never saw these things but we heard wood knocks and footsteps since then my son has had other encounters once with multiple witnesses all these encounters in fall and winter months I believe these things migrate during winter

    I don't know if "believer" really is a true category, because honestly I don't think anybody really really believes in these things until you actually see them. You can think you do, but when you see them, no matter how much you THOUGHT you believed in it, your mind is blown at what you're seeing. In other words, no matter how much you believed in them, when you see one you still think, "Wow. They really ARE real."
    I really think you have to see one to FULLY believe.

    • @kateharris1210
      @kateharris1210 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@lifeabovetreeline yes, I've seen one, and what I meant was you can never really fully believe in one until you see one, because it's so incomprehensible. And even then, it's hard to believe. You have to see it to believe it kind of thing. Like so many people will say, "I believed in them my whole life , but when one was standing right in front of me, I thought, 'They really ARE real.'"
      In other words, they always thought they fully believed in them, but only when they saw one did they realize that there had been the smallest infinitesimal fraction of doubt. And like I said, even when you have a sighting it's still so hard to believe. I'm so glad I had my cousin with me, or I would have been second-guessing myself for the last 40 years. Something that you've been told is a myth for your whole life is standing right in front of you, it's just really hard to believe your own eyeballs. It's kind of akin to seeing a T-Rex walking down the street. 🤯🤯🤯

    What he said at the end really struck home with me.
    So, I've never had a cryptid encounter but I did have a paranormal encounter when I was 17 with a group of friends. We all saw the same thing.
    When I tell people about it they always say 'what were you all drinking/smoking?" and I respond: for one, we weren't doing either. And for two, alcohol and marijuana aren't hallucinogenic. And even if they were, 7 people wouldn't ALL hallucinate the exact same thing at the same time.
    That usually sets the skeptic aback, and I flip the script by pushing on the offensive. I ask them why they even made a snide comment like that when it doesn't even make any sense. Because EVERYONE always says the same thing about drinking and smoking like they are preprogrammed to say it.
    haha, anyway...that's my rant for the day. Just a pet peeve of mine. I suppose people make that comment because these subjects make them uncomfortable, and they want to dismiss it as quickly as they can. But it is so aggravating and unoriginal!

    • @nevadahiker6661
      @nevadahiker6661 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Oh, and I forgot to add this. Last year a teenager asked me if I believed in ghosts, and I said "yeah, I had an experience when I was younger" and they made the drinking/smoking comment. I asked them why they even brought it up if they were just going to be rude about it. But also, they were young enough to where they had never drank or smoked anything, so why use that remark when they have no clue what it even feels like to be drunk or high? It is a completely reflexive response for most people. And it is surprising that it is already there when they are so young!

    • @sirdanoman
      @sirdanoman 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I've said the same about my Sasquatch encounter. Even my own family defaults to (not the drinking smoking thing) but: "It was a bear" or "you were scared so it was probably something else ". This is somehow MORE insulting. I've been hunting my whole life, wildland firefighter and 20 years in the medical field. My response, "A bear, huh? Geez, I must be missing ALL the 10 foot tall bears that have shoulders as wide as my truck! Weird. My mistake". The damn thing was 25 yards in front of me in broad daylight!!!

    • @nevadahiker6661
      @nevadahiker6661 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@sirdanoman Yep. That actually would aggravate me even more!
      I have a friend back home in Alaska that has had a Sasquatch sighting. He spotlighted it walking away from his cabin. He was expecting it to be a bear, but he saw the head shoulders and back. 9 feet tall and 4 feet wide.
      He is a lifelong Alaskan hunter. He is certain it wasn't a bear!

    • @kateharris1210
      @kateharris1210 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Whenever they ask me what I was drinking or smoking, I say, "Number one, I was SEVEN (lol). And number two, that's not at all how alcohol or marijuana works."
      And then I will ask them if they've ever had a can of beer or a glass of wine, if they say "Yes," then I ask them if it resulted in a dinosaur walking down the street LOL. 🦖
      That's almost as irritating as when you have a Bigfoot sighting and people say, "You saw a bear." 🤬🤬🤬

    • @kateharris1210
      @kateharris1210 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sirdanoman I had someone tell me that I saw a bear, and I said "Okay, well then it was an 8 ft tall bear running on hind legs," and they said, "Or did it just seem that tall to you because you were a small child?" 🤬 I specifically remember thinking in the moment that that thing was literally twice my height, like me standing on my own head. So that would have been about 8 ft. And not only that, but if it had been a world record-breaking 8 ft tall bear, JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER CHILD IN THE WESTERN WORLD, I KNOW WHAT A BEAR LOOKS LIKE. If it had looked like a giant bear, I would have said a giant bear. But that's NOT what I saw! The whole bear excuse is SO insulting. A 1 year old knows what a bear looks like. It makes me want to do bodily harm to people.

      Yes. Read about the Dyatlov Pass incident in Russia where young cross country skiers were killed by what may have been a bigfoot(s). They had taken a photo of one that was tracking them.

    "God is great, he makes so many great and wonderful things" so cringe. Religious belief systems are so middle ages.

      Yes he is! God is amazing and I am thankful for this life he has given me.

      @@MysteriesUnknownpodcast Yeah, but no proof. Just a story that gets passed down through the generations that we are encouraged to believe. Religious belief systems stifle critical thinking and conditions us to accept norms without question. Furthermore, "god" is always an authoritative man we should fear and obey (conditioning). I've been calling bullsh!t on this concept since childhood.

    It's pretty much saturated with bigfoot encounter shows, don't you think? And copycating.

      I guess that you should never do anything that anyone else has ever done.... Ever. This is my take on this and people seem to really enjoy it. If you really think that way about things that have already been done, then you better stop drinking coffee or soda or eat a burger, because the market is so saturated and someone else has already done it....That logic does not work.

      I love the accounts directly from the experiencer. This is way easier to listen to than the dramatic storytellers lol. I just subbed. This seems way more authentic. I trust this guy telling his story is very believable. You can tell hes truthful. Some bigfoot content seems super fabricated. This guest is legit.
