The Big "O". What a great ride thru old Florida. I did a couple poker runs around the lake. It's a great day ride that takes just about all day with a couple stops. I live in Port Labelle and we have some fantastic rides around here off the beaten path. Summertime you're almost always going to hit rain at some point, but when it cools off, I'm riding almost every possible chance. Thanks for the vid, keep em rollin...
Scott, thanks for watching! Let me know if you have any specific routes you can share over there in Labelle. That’s another good riding area that I like rolling through. Ride safe!✌🏼🙌🏼
@@coffeehogs well from Labelle, I take 80 west to Alva then cross over the Caloosahatchee river and get on 78 and take that back east to Ortona Tavern for a stretch then keep east to Moore Haven and take 27 back to 80 then head south thru the Montoro ranch area and into Okaloacoochee Slough and wind my way thru there head south to Immokalee and have a Mexican lunch and a pit stop then head north on 29 and straight back into Labelle. All day ride and you'll be a baked potato if you go in the summertime, but when it cools off a little it's a fantastic ride off the beaten path. If you are interested, I always enjoy the company and get double thumbs up from everyone who joins the ride. BTW I'm a non drinker also 👍. Kind Regards
Let’s plan to go in the cooler months. I’ll definitely film that one and me and my son will tag along. Maybe I can get a few more people to go. Don’t let me forget. Sounds like a good ride. I’ve been back there but that route sounds really good. 👍🏼
@@coffeehogs rock on🤟. Hopefully November brings some cool down and I'll get in touch and possibly make some plans. I subscribed, so I will be watching for some vids. Let me know if you are planning any rides around here or the Big "O". I happen to be a coffee snob myself, so always looking for a good cup of Joe. Be safe and kind regards...
I'll have to take a ride up there one of these days. Looks interesting. I have not been through that area much. Yeah, we haven't had enough rain lately. Now we get it all at the same time.
Your facial expression at the beginning of the video says it all. A bad ride in the rain is better than a good day at work. The bridge that you went under at 5:04, We camped approximately 5 miles from there at the Dupuis Family Campground for 5 days. Ok we need the address of that restaurant,
Rich I’ll definitely take a ride in the rain over work any day. I have never stayed at Dupuis but have passed by many times. Ok, you ask, you get. Here is the address 3415 US HIGHWAY 441 S OKEECHOBEE, FL 34974 ✌🏼
Good morning we plan on taking this ride Sunday. We followed the signs that said scenic trail but I think we misssed the turn. We ended up going through a city and ended up where some campers were parked . Where did we go wrong?
Hi! Ok, so from Southern it is pretty simple. Southern is SR 98/441. Follow that all the way West and it will eventually turn North. Stay on 98/441 all the way through Pahokee and it will continue along the perimeter of the lake. When you get to the North side of the lake, you will be going South West on 98/441 and you will get to a light. At that point you will see a BP Gas station and a Dunkin Donuts behind it. DON’T turn right to continue on 98! Keep going straight on Route 78. You’re going to stay on 78 until you get to Moore Haven. You will then see US 27. Take US 27 East until you get to South Bay. At the intersection of 27 and Dr Martin Luther King Blvd. Turn onto MLK Blvd. that is Route 80 and goes back East and becomes Route 15 North. Take that to 80/441 and get on 80/441 to go East back home on Southern. If you look on Google Maps you can see this route clearly. If you need me to send you a map of it on Google, please don’t hesitate to email me at manny@coffeehogs.net.

@ScottCochrane-zp8bj a pleasure. Let’s def stay in touch. Talk soon brother! ✌🏼
I wanted to add we came off of southern blvd
Great Day. We deal with the weather. Lots of fun.
It was definitely a fun day. Rain and all! Thanks for joining us!

It seems as though as soon as the kids get out from school the monsoons are released. Definitely worth the ride if you haven’t been. Very relaxing. ✌🏼

@@coffeehogs Thanks, If we are in that area again, it's a must eat.
The rain can mess up a good ride. Great video
You know how we do though. It’s all good. We rode through it and got a ride in. Thanks my brother!
@@coffeehogs yes sir
Ride til you’re dry - but not the case on this ride. Still a good day 👍
Still a good day. If you wanna ride in Florida, you gotta ride in the rain. Thanks for the watch! ✌🏼🙏🏼
Could have shown the Okeechobee Battlefield Park
That’s a good stop also. I think we wanted to escape the rain. Which we didn’t. But in our minds 😂
I live in Okeechobee
Oh no way! That’s awesome!
