This campground is on our TT list this spring/summer. This is definitely big rig friendly. I love all the space, greenery, and amenities. Thank for showing us around.

It was nice and very well kept, they have lots of room there, wouldn't it be nice if they could add even more sites? They filled up while we were there.

My Dad built that 30 acre lake - caught my first bass in that lake circa 1976 - I used to have to mow that little island... there used to be a 30 ft all metal slide with a water pump at the top - huge draw! - My Mom used to run the concession stand at the top of the hill from the beach... the good old days!

Thanks! We didn't have the pups this trip but they would've loved it. They run a tight ship and it shows, we really enjoyed our stay!

Nice to see the shower and laundry info. We won’t always need laundry or showers but now I can plan trips at TT and use the best facilities based on these reviews. So helpful👍🏼. Do these places have dump stations on the way in or out? I might have missed it. We’ve only stayed at state campgrounds so Rv parks will be new for us.

Yes, they have dump stations but most parks have sewer hook ups.

We just got here tonight -WARNING if you are coming from Ashtabula the GPS (mine is a Garmin RV model) will try to send you in south on 45 to turn left onto Mill Creek Rd…you go this way and you’ll end up with a low overpass - think it was 10’-9”. It’s over a mile of backing up to get back out to 45. Driveways have been purposely narrowed by residents to keep RVs from backing into them to turn around. I found one about halfway that worked but it was a lot of stress as it was getting dark turning my 41’ motorhome around with ditches on both sides of this skinny road.

Thanks for the GPS heads up. It was a little tight getting to it

I don’t get it? Is it a state park or private owned ? 🤣 ranger station at a private owned park? Looks nice but not an Ohio state park

It is a Thousand Trails park. Most of them have ranger stations!
