I'm going to stop asking people how long they have ridden BMX and instead ask them how many Volume Bikes rebrands they have lived through. I think I'm about five deep at this point.
True, but I'm here for it. Just curious what were the rebrandings? I stopped riding in 07', so I only remember the OG team and image of Volume back way. I got back into not long ago, but I did catch how things were different before Kris and the others were put on the team.
My opinion, I like this particular re-brand.
Mid 2000s, Jason Enns era. The early Mastroni pre-Finer Things era (Alex Platt, Raban etc). The post Finer Things Broc/Demarcus/Clemens era. The laying low era. The Fast & Loose era. Did I miss any?
I miss 2 volume rebrands ago with Broc and Demarcus honestly
That was the golden era for me
I rode an original hellion frame for a couple years and the Kris Bennett frame they made (livewire?) For about a year. 39 and still a daily addict, currently on a fit heartbreaker.

@@jadendubecky4130 Volume trying to squeeze as much juice out of the lemon by using Jason's name to sell street frames because they don't have the budget to add a pro street rider to the team. Street frames sell better because street riding is more popular and the frames get damaged and replaced more often. Silly move really because Jason is known for riding tranny, not street. But I guess Volume need to do what they need to do to bolster their sales volume. pun intended.
@@orangeblue3531 I 100% agree with that statement. I think it's also a bit of a bummer that Kris and Jason's frame doesn't have any difference in geometry. I knew going into them getting a frame that it was going to be long and slack but both frame are the same. Just a different paint scheme.
