Watching last night Dobes seemed off a bit. Then hear this morning his father was in the building and he hadn't seen him in a year and a half. That would do it. One of if not the Best game of the season

I’m a die hard leaf fan but I love that Rempe got is ass handed too him, I’m a Canadian also so I cheer for the habs against every other team, I hope they make the playoffs and we can finally see some legendary leaf/habs games, good luck Montreal. ❤

The goals against Dobes were mistakes and lucky bounces in my opinion. He proved his worth with 2 spectacular saves in overtime. Great win by the Habs.

I couldn't stop grinning after the Habs tied it all the way to the game winner. It's like I knew they were going to win. I say it all the time now but the Habs have become fun to watch again. We've been patient. Hopefully they keep it up.

Liking the fact we have ten players that have played every single game. Consistently playing with the same guys every night helps.

Toronto game was a learning experience. They're not used to being up 3-0 and let's admit the fact that Toronto is a powerhouse.

I agree totally about Wifi not fighting Reaves. Wifi has nothing to prove against Reaves, having rag-dolled him last year. You can be sure that MSL has told him to pick his fights carefully and being up 3-zip is not the time. He also knew he was probably going to fight Rempe tonight. Love that he staggered him with a left haymaker. Rempe needs to learn to play hockey because he won't keep
his spot in the lineup as an enforcer. I would do it all over again.

OK, TBL sitting in the division's 3-slot with 53 (points). If the Habs kick it back into high gear again, which will be required from hereon, anyway, they can not only get in, but get a great seed. The TOR game hurt...the way it played out. The next one was a character win; got the 2 points. And big cheers for that! However, it's ti8me to get that chip back on the proverbial shoulder with that attitude they were chirping about a week, ago...we can beat anyone. 😉

It was a great game and I'm very happy. But, about Rempe....he's tall and he's strong. But, everytime I see him fight against a tough guy, he gets hit in the head a million times and he looks shaken. Gotta be careful because it could really end up badly for him with those concussions.

teams playing Reeves or Rempe are out of there minds they are not of the Olivier or number 72 type of players they are goons and those teams would show wisdom to replace them by real hockey players like Olivier or the sherif they can play hockey. 2025 time to end those marginal fighting players if they cannot play the game they have no buisiness in the NHL. the game is all about speed now and talent not marginal players taking the place of better players talent wise.

    Here we go….
Montreal fans ready to throw the team under the bus and a decent month solicits a cup parade.
On Saturday Montreal wrote a cheque they can’t cash.
Toronto stomped them and exposed their strengths and weaknesses.
    Canadian teams likely to go the furthest this year in descending order;
    1. Edmonton
    2. Toronto
    3. Winnipeg
    4. Calgary
    5. Vancouver
    6. Quebec(Nordiques)
    7. Montreal 😂

So we are just past the midway point of the season and here are my thoughts...firstly, I was completely wrong on Lane Hutson. At the beginning of the season, I thought Lane would need to get stronger and work on his defence in Laval. Altho he is making understandable mistakes (as a rookie season), he is definitely a heck of a smart player who makes everyone on the ice better. I've also been super critical of MSL as head coach...I still reserve judgment till I see this team coached during a playoff run bc that is when wins count HOWEVER I must give him and the coaching staff credit for suddenly turning around this season after a very mediocre start to the season. I do still hold to the defense issues this team has BUT, it's great seeing how close this team is and how much they all seem to enjoy playing for one another. It will be super interesting to see how Hughes&Gorton will handle trade deadline...what do we do? Do you mess up how well this team is playing by trading away UFAs in Savard, Armia, Dvorak, Evans and risk getting nothing for them in the off season and wait to make changes after the season is over...or does HuGo still try to help improve this team for the long term before trade deadline? This team has definitely learned how to not let their last game affect them, and altho they still continue to make mistakes, learn and gain experience...this team is playing like a team. This will be a super interesting 2nd half of the season. Go Habs Go!
