Despite wasting time and money, I like to believe somewhere down the line, they eventually overcame their fear of breaking the rules. Especially Sheldon, because whenever science comes into play, that's usually when he doesn't mind breaking the rules. Like the first time he met Leonard and he saved his life from the elevator incident. He had a snitching problem but he never gave up Leonard to the police, feds, and homeland security. So he can be a real one at times. And his self awareness in this season is incredible. "He has glasses and I'm a know it all, we are not build from prison." He must have had flashbacks of being in jail in the 3rd season 😂😂😂
Not you too, does every American think that Sweden and Switzerland are the same country? It almost seems that way. I guess it's correct in that neither Sweden nor Switzerland is America.
Today's question is a bit difficult for me as I live in the same house as my ex husband, we're really good friends.. maybe this question is easier than i thought. I'd have to tell a potential partner that I live in the same house as my ex husband 😂
I don't think scientists should care about the credit, they are supposed to be about science, not rewarding themselves. If someone out there has an idea you had and gets it out there before you, that's fair game. They should be happy that things are happening in science, not looking for fame.
As someone who went to grad school in engineering, I have to tell you that scientists working in universities are under a lot of pressure to produce as many achievements as possible, which include taking credits by publishing a paper or experimental results. If they do not have many achievements and get bad evaluation, they might get their funding cut off for following years. So when Leonard and Sheldon got concerned of not getting credit from the experiment that they can do, that felt understandable for me. Being happy for things happening in science is the ideal case, but just like any jobs on this world, there's a reality that scientists have to live up with.
@@stellacollector I'm well aware of them having to produce something to keep their funding going. However you only have to bs the people in charge and make something up, cause they aren't the experts in the field, they can't verify your claims themselves lol. So you just say oh we are close to something that might be huge! Meanwhile those in power with the money don't really care to pay attention they just go uhg, paper work, you guys still working? Yeah? Okay here's your grant money go away. It's like big pharma, they will never make a cure for cancer cause that would stop the INIFINITE amount of money that comes pouring in when the world believes they are trying to make a cure lol.

13:26 no it's not, unless you have double standards.
Yeah, I'm arguing that you shouldn't view those situations differently

Mediocre episode for me. Though the talk about Mexican standoff etc is fun
