When people decide to focus on being offended by comedy and trying to cancel a comedian because of it- it makes you wonder how unproductive people are in their lives. I don't think it's because he's making fun of the gay community. I believe it's because he KEEPS making fun of the gay community. To put it in a way that might make you understand. Imagine if there was a comic who only did black jokes. At first you might think it's funny but after the 5th or 6th special you might start thinking he's a racist. Lol, I am a fan of Dave but I just wanted to try to explain it so maybe people would understand why they are upset.
Except he only makes fun because they won't let it go. He's hits every other group ( and some several times ) and no one says a word. He hits them light at first and they try to cancel him. They breathed life into this monster because they overreact to everything he says. Look at his earlier specials . He barely mentioned them at all. Keep telling him " you can't say that " and he will keep going. They basically said " you can't make fun of us" and he went "yeah ...well we will see". Any other group could tell him " no I deserve special treatment " and he would body them on the mic too
