They are all so amazingly talented, but I gotta say that Chris Kirkpatrick takes the cake here. 👏 He usually has the trickiest harmonies to navigate in the group, but his parts are perfectly executed and he makes this song come with a side of goosebumps. Just wow ❤ 🙌
Joey never gets enough credit for holding down those baritone harmonies...his voice never carries a lead or a bassline, his notes are all color and damn he just fits them in there. He might've never been featured that much, but he could sure hold his own.

I had to watch the live version of this to see who was singing lead because the voice in the studio acapella version was absolutely beautiful! Only for it to be none other than JC. His voice is literally so beautiful and he is so damn talented. It’s unfair!
N'Sync needs to promote this aspect of their history more. This arrangement is especially difficult, even by acapella standards. Alternate chords, tons of movement, switching assignments/parts left and right, controlled head voice use, no safety net - this is legit! And they tweaked a tuning or two at the beginning, so it's reasonable to think it's genuinely live, unaided. N'Sync got a lot of stereotyping, and played into it sometimes, but this is above criticism. Musicality, baby.

This is the best version of O' Holy Night ever. I never heard it acapella before. This CD came out I think it was 1998. It's sad to see that guys in the music industry in general doesn't sing this way anymore. Ok maybe a solo artist, but not a band. It makes you look back and really respect and appreciate boy bands even more. The 90's and early 2000's were really special. Can 1 Dimension, I mean 1 Direction do this? I think not.
its a little different flair, but since you like acapella music i suggest Peter Hollens channel. He does a lot of different requests for his fans and has O Holy Night, Georgia, and lots of others. He's one of those that record several tracks all in harmony and its pretty good stuff

However, they have superior talents, especially compared to today’s singers. It was just a different vibe back then. It was more chill and no frills kind of thing. It was more about the music. And truly I admire them for singing songs the way they’re meant to be sung-for instance, the national anthem-while bringing their own style to it.

Yeah! I try to isolate their voices and Joey's is the most difficult to distinguish. Although he's baritone, he's a big step above Lance's bass voice and closer to Justin's key.

this is the very reason why I love NSYNC. Because when they sang together, they had SUCH AMAZING harmony together, it was very clear how 'in sync' they were. I always preferred their Acapella, R&B songs over the Pop songs. They shined the best like this, no background music just them.
They can do some acapella but not as complex as this. NSYNC's acapella are filled with Major 7 chord voicings and key changes rooted to blues. 1D can't even compete.
Origin Music Finally someone who understands some music lol. This song and I Thought She Knew in particular have some interesting chords. One Direction mostly sang simple 3 part harmonies (with some parts obviously being doubled). Pretty easy for any singer to learn. But I’ll say in their defense, they all started out as solo singers and were basically forced into a group, whereas *NSYNC was formed as a vocal group from the start.
Until this day, this is the most beautiful Christmas song to me. It makes me realize how beautiful human voices are when in harmony. No musical instruments can replace this.

I'm seriously fucking blown up. I mean oh my god. I'm a huge fan of Little Mix, also I really enjoy Fifth Harmony's music and you know, but they are so far away of ever achieving this level of tightness and fullness... I'm shocked tbh.
I think LM are on par with these guys now considering they’re still together they’ve mastered harmonies it does also help that there’s five of NSYNC to add to that fullness whereas LM have 3 members now :( still amazing though
this is the very reason why I love NSYNC. Because when they sang together, they had SUCH AMAZING harmony together, it was very clear how 'in sync' they were. I always preferred their Acapella, R&B songs over the Pop songs. They shined the best like this, no background music just them.

They can do some acapella but not as complex as this. NSYNC's acapella are filled with Major 7 chord voicings and key changes rooted to blues. 1D can't even compete.
Origin Music Finally someone who understands some music lol. This song and I Thought She Knew in particular have some interesting chords. One Direction mostly sang simple 3 part harmonies (with some parts obviously being doubled). Pretty easy for any singer to learn. But I’ll say in their defense, they all started out as solo singers and were basically forced into a group, whereas *NSYNC was formed as a vocal group from the start.
