Two pictures are going viral on social media. In one, Baba Gurmeet Singh is sitting in the helicopter in which he was taken to jail while the second picture is of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is also seen getting off a helicopter. The common thing is that both the helicopters are of the same name- ‘AW-139’ which means ‘Augusta Westland -139’. The government is being accused of providing Adani's private helicopter for Baba's comfort.

AW139 is just the model Number of the Helicopter and it is not the tag number, Tag number is the unique identification of the aircraft which can be seen in the pics

AW 139 is the call sign of this aircraft & not it's model number. Each ship or aircraft (including helicopters) have a unique identification code & will be different for each aircraft even if it is the same make & model. It is like a registration number of a car. It has to be different even if it is the same make & model of the car. When ever the pilot of this helicopter communicates with any other aircraft or a base station (airport), the pilot will not say that this is a helicopter of so and so make or model, the pilot will say it's AW 139.
