i dont think that gt2 is hopeless aganist gt3 in anu track.only in a small track gt3 has a chance...gt2 is not made for track but is good enough though..my opinion..

i think the x51 kit was only for the turbo 996. now for the 997 stuff it doesn't exist. The 997 turbo has a turbo boost sort of button that raises the power by 20hp or so for only 15 seconds or something like that. i think the 996 carrera had an available engine enhancement package for 8,000USD. Which didn't make sence because then you had a carrera with less power than a GT3 but cost almost the same.
I would like to see you driving like this and your look on your face ift you crash with 80 into the wall or fall of the cliff there. And drifting is oversteering. And who says that there is any corolation between the speedo and the extirior shoots? Maybe the director just wanted to insert some shots of the speedo & rev counter. Anyhow: Not a bad video at all. Nice driving and a even car. 4*
@imtylerson I was just notcing that. Having a digital speedo must be quite terrible if its anything like that. Even if it updates instantly, having an anolog speedometer gives you a better sense of how fast you are accelerating. Its easier to take account how fast the needle is moving vs how fast the digital numbers are rolling
1. This video isn't about drifting. 2. It would be stupid to enter sideways in a rear-engine car with a cliff and rocks around. 3. Would be slow and useless. 4. The driver has very high skill level. You can't catch a 911 as easy as front-engine RWD car. 5. There is no rule that says the car has to be sideways, you're making it up.

hey take the laptime at the nordschleife: the gt2 with 7.32 and the gt3 7.47; of course the gt3 is much more radical but not faster because the gt2 is also designed for the track and in this case bhp counts!
OMG - the GT3s exhaust sound is what everyone else wants their car to sound like. Damn that sounds perfect. Oh yeah, Walter Rohrl driving is kinda scary-cool to watch too.
These are great cars. The only problem with Mark I is the front is so low you hit everything with it! You have to order the front end lift for your Mark II cars!

I love , have very similar roads here but have to drive 140 ps cars on this, Its boring..

The measuring system has a latency because it would be very disturbing if the display would change every 0,1 seconds
GT3 is all about handling and all around performance imo... the gt2 on the other hand is about showing off i think...
