Plastic surgery turns a lot of folks into absolute train wrecks as they age. I feel it’s better to just learn to accept yourself than to fight the inevitable only to become the very thing your fighting so hard against, someone who looks like they hit every branch when they fell off the ugly tree.
I agree. I’m not saying people should do nothing in terms of aging, there is make up, diet, those lotions… but plastic surgery is like going from the frying pan into the fire I read somewhere, not sure if it’s true, that celebrities are often pushed to get plastic surgery to punish them after they go against the Hollywood elite
@@charleshoops2307 I don't think she was forced. Nature is not fair, it does not care about "equality" or pc culture. And also, you can not legislate what people want to watch or what people are attracted to. It's nobody's fault but the fact is women have a very short window of opportunity to capitalize on anything that relies heavily on their looks. Every one Meg Ryan Vive die Königen among Actors. You have great company among the greatest of the great in my opinion. I'm a big fan.
I think her art immitated her true self. She is not comfortable when she is not in control and shows more of her true self than others realize. Meaning that she is closer to being one of the most authentic artist of her trade.
I liked her in most of the movies I saw her in. I didn't watch some of them due to their content. I believe her fling with Crowe is what shelved her career! Had she not done that while still married to Quaid she wouldn't have been attacked so viciously by the press!
The way her eyes sparkle when she genuinely smiles. It gives me a warm feeling in my chest and I can't help but smile right along with her. I remember her from her soap days through her successful movies. I wish her success in whatever she chooses to do.
I seen video yesterday where she had nose cancer n that's why all the surgeries started. They had to completely remove her nose. I wish I'd saved that video. She finally came out w it. Bless her.
She has obviously had “work done”. I don’t know why actors don’t admit it when we are so familiar with their faces we know already. When Harry Met Sally is my all time favorite movie - ask anyone in my family.
How about just _Age Naturally;_ there's nothing wrong with being 45, 55, 65~, with the largest group in history booming into retirement ages there should definitely be enough numbers of that demographic to warrant entertainment aimed at them, but actors in their age group who aren't trying to pretend to be 20 year younger than they are...
She ruled the movies for many years. She was in EVERYTHING and could do everything; comedy, drama, suspense, and stay so likable. Even her hairstyles made news, and she made her hairstylist famous. She was always so normal and down to earth. She had a great ride, especially for someone who didn’t plan to pursue acting.
Hollywood can be a cruel place for aging starlets unless you are Betty White, she was even funnier as she aged, and Betty can keep us rolling on the floor with laughter.

She is an ACTRESS.
Not a typecasted part in whatever someone else thinks
She's a woman that tells a moral or a way to be or gives you something to think about in every film. Every one Meg Ryan Vive die Königen among Actors. You have great company among the greatest of the great in my opinion. I'm a big fan.
Well Meg. Where ever you are. All the very best for the future. May you have all you ever desire x
I still remember Meg Ryan when she was on "as the world turns". I also remember her from "when Harry met sally".
I enjoyed this post. Meg Ryan has always intrigued me.
I always enjoyed her films and had wondered where she went. Wish her the best.
Meg ryan got older and Hollywood is always looking for younger actors and actresses.
I think her art immitated her true self. She is not comfortable when she is not in control and shows more of her true self than others realize. Meaning that she is closer to being one of the most authentic artist of her trade.
She is, in my opinion, underappreciated.
I liked her in most of the movies I saw her in. I didn't watch some of them due to their content. I believe her fling with Crowe is what shelved her career! Had she not done that while still married to Quaid she wouldn't have been attacked so viciously by the press!
Meg Ryan is amazing.
I've always thought of Meg Ryan as a very attractive woman and never seen any of the movies she played in as bad so for
Meg was outstanding in the 1988 movie 'The Presidio" with Sean Connery and Mark Harmon.
The way her eyes sparkle when she genuinely smiles. It gives me a warm feeling in my chest and I can't help but smile right along with her. I remember her from her soap days through her successful movies. I wish her success in whatever she chooses to do.
She will always be my Favorite. I Love you Meg.
Hearing the word "ROM-COM" so often is like hearing nails on a blackboard.
I never heard it before today and I don’t even know what it means! ☺️😂
@@ShirleyDeeDesigns I think it means romantic comedy but it's really silly ! LOL !!
Always loved Meg Ryan!!!
❤Love Meg Ryan, loved her movies.❤
They neglected to mention she is back with John (Cougar) Mellencamp.
Love... from THAILAND.
I thought they had broke up for good.
She should have told her younger self, age gracefully!
Leave it to a man to say something like that. Smh
@@cyndyrob350 women should listen to men more often.. we know best! 😄
Hello Gloria
Meg Ryan did not make one bad movie, she will always be one of the most charming actors to ever live, Men just trying to control her!!
My favorite was When Harry Met Sally, but there were a few others. Always liked whatever I saw her in.
I had the pleasure of being an extra in one of Ryans productions. I played a boxing judge ringside. Toronto Canada. Late 90's.
Was Meg Ryan nice to the cast and crew?
Bring back the Romcoms ❣️
Always loved her ... miss her on the screen, just adorable and very underrated...she and Russell would have been epic, so sad their timing was off.
I love "When a man loves a woman" & "City of Angels"
I believe, that people needs to Mind their own Business and Stop judging other people. I think Meg Ryan Is Intelligent, Beautiful very Smart. She is very skilled And great Actor. She and she along go to where she is today. Bravo Meg Ryan God Bless You.
Good point, Lolita. What's your favorite Meg Ryan movie?
