Logical processing Lol... But thank you. And since this video some new things have come out for wands making our cleaning even better and fun. We really like the new Tom Conway new Devastator swivel head wand that can be found at www.devastatorfilter.com It is on a few of my videos and just screams with suction and power
LogicalProcessing They are both very good for lift, but the new Tom Conway Devastator swivel head wand that just came out this year 2017, is unbelievable. Blows both of these away pretty huge.....we now have those wands on our vans
I'm always looking for the next best thing . easier to push on commercial carpets etc. The Evolution TM is a beast , but the 12 is awesome to keep down the fatigue along with great dry times .
We just got two of the new Tom Conway Devastator swivel head wands... And oh my... Do these things clean crazy! Just uploaded a couple videos about them today
They are both good. The Westpak is less expensive. The Prochem 6 jet is being discontinued I have been told, but there is a 4 jet version in the Legend Brands line to replace it which is probably better now than the 6 jet. Since this video we have gone to the Conway Devastator swivel head Wands. Even a better cleaning and drying wand over these 2. Here is the website for the Devastator Wands. www.devastatorfilter.com
I'd like to see these tests done in well lit rooms on equally soiled carpet and then groom brushed afterwards so we can see how much nap distortion has occurred. Streaking is due to heat pressure and travel speed. Wands can damage any nap if used without experience and skill.
No nap distortion, each carpet that was tested was not the greatest of quality, but grooming after everything was fine. Hybrid glides were being used in this video and we do groom everything we clean in real world cleaning
Hey Tumbler 10. The streaks are actually partial from the Greenglide....and on the Westpak, it was both glide and some from what we feel the check valves being a bit too long....Again, we were just trying the new Westpak wand together and nothing scientific....just having some fun, and trying two very nice cleaning wands.
+Rawjan 39 I am not sure it is on their site but my brother Kirk Saiger is a distributor of theirs and could get you some information. He is at the www.merlessteamclean.com in the Bemidji MN account.
I have tried it but I wasn't as big of fan of it. Felt it needed a bit of work, but I did just buy two of the new Tom Conway Devastor swivel head wands...and these are the brand new ones in 2016 that PMF is making for Tom and wow do they clean! I just uploaded a couple videos yesterday of them....
Bubby Brew yes today we probably are... Lol. This is just garbage carpet from the garage intentionally to be trashed and only test patches. Since this video we have all updated to the new Thomas L Conway NEW Devastator Swivel Head wand. Neither one of these wands really come close to the cleaning and drying power of these 2 wands. Check them out www.devastatorfilter.com
The jets actually send the water to the glide in a glancing blow with these Wands, and the recovery from this size of truckmount is quite balanced and strong for water recovery. Most professional carpet cleaning companies will hot water extract around 450 to 600 psi. The length of the hose you are using will have an effect on the actual psi at the wand. And jet sizes will also play an effect on how much moisture actually gets to the carpet fiber.
@@MarkSaiger Yes a truck mount would be different however For Most professional companies that use portable carpet cleaning machines they will only need to go up to 250/300 psi maximum as not to soak the carpet subfloors and underlay. As there is no need for any more psi if you use the correct chemistry and correct cleaning solutions and prespray as they will do the work for you removing the soils. The machine is just to rinse usually. 500psi and above would usually be for hard floor cleaning.
500 psi is ridiculous way to high and you never want heat over 200 you will cause damage. Prochem looks nice not throwing water like the other one. a wand is a wand really its all in the chemical and rinse ,and you shouls know what your doing also that helps lol nice video though. Buttler is over rated as they break down alot and you gotta order the parts
Dale, psi being used depends on number of factors such as also hose length being used, type of carpet type of equipment, soil levels, your equipments ability to recover and perform. We have 150-200 foot live reels for the high pressure hose. Some of the carpet being cleaned here was really cheap and thin so water overspray can be expected. Saying a wand is a wand is a very uneducated comment as there are a number of factors that create better cleaning potential in wands. I would encourage you to try a few more out. Cleaning chems and other factors we would agree can be important such as the use of agitation.... With Butlers being overated, well that is usually coming from someone who has not owned or been around good equipment. Our Butlers have logged thousands of road miles and thousands of hours without any type of major problems... And after we are done with them, they tend to go a lot longer yet for others. Thanks for taking a look at the video but I would encourage you to take a look at the products being used and others to do your own side by side comparisons or get together at conventions or with other cleaners and I think you will see there are differences in equipment.
Wow ! Before I subscribed mark ! Loving these older vlogs !
I remember this one too 😁. Was at my brother's house at the time
Great video fellas. Loving the wands, and that steam is great.
Thank you Drytek....we were just having some fun as well...nothing too scientific....just some fun as well as checking them out. :)
Loving the westpak. Can't wait to get it!
Thank you....we are loving our Butlers...and all our tools. Makes cleaning fun :-)
All the rugs and carpet Ive thrown away over the year and you make even the poopy little rugs look decent again.

Mark Saiger What kind of lift do you get with those new wands?

Your welcome, these wands sure do a great job.

Which one is better ? How would you rate each wand ?

@@MarkSaiger thanks for the reply. which one is lighter 4 jet prochem or wespak ?
@@Bang_n_slang they are both very similar in weight
Great Job!!!
Thanks! :)

Hey Mark. I've been looking for the westpak titanium wand on their site but I can't find it. What is the number of that type of wand
+Rawjan 39 I am not sure it is on their site but my brother Kirk Saiger is a distributor of theirs and could get you some information. He is at the www.merlessteamclean.com in the Bemidji MN account.
Hi Mark have you tried the PMF TI ? What do you think of it , if you have tried it compared to the PC TI ?
I have tried it but I wasn't as big of fan of it. Felt it needed a bit of work, but I did just buy two of the new Tom Conway Devastor swivel head wands...and these are the brand new ones in 2016 that PMF is making for Tom and wow do they clean! I just uploaded a couple videos yesterday of them....
are the streaks in the nap from the jets or from the green glides vacuum openings??
from the Greenglide...sorry I missed this comment earlier
It's hard to work with family and it Mark you got to tell him three times to do it once haha
Lol... For sure 😁
you're just transferring the dirt all over again on the clean carpets with your shoes.

500 psi ! Why not just jet wash it ! If that’s was in a house the underlay would be ruined and you’d wet the subfloor
