Just my two cents but I LOVED this live!! You mentioned you wanted it to be like we were at a crop together, and that’s exactly what it felt like. I love how willing you were to jump from topic to topic and just chat about so many different things, just as you would at a crop. Even the “party foul” of the spilled water fit! (Because who hasn’t done that before??) And I like that you crafted a bit along the way too. No expectations, just engaging, crafty fun. And all the things you worried out loud about (e.g. talking too much, die cutting too loud, live too long, etc.)….. NONE of those were an issue! You talked a lot because you were gracious enough to answer tons of questions. You couldn’t hear the die cutting at all, and if someone doesn’t like the amount of time you generously spend live, no one is stopping them from leaving! 😉 You’re doing a great job with your lives, and I for one am very appreciative for all you contribute to this industry! Thank you Jennifer!!
I just got done watching this replay and it was so fun! Don’t be so hard on yourself, crafting while answering tons of questions has got to be nerve racking! Not many could do that with ease. I loved seeing your excitement trying new things with the Better Press. I hope you stay being excited about crafting then you won’t quit anytime soon😁 Also, Lila is so beautiful and talented! She has learned from the best of the best in her card making and being kind. You learn kindness from home. You are both amazing!!! Thank you for sharing this with us❤️ and thanks to Mike for working on Sunday!
I watched this whole thing on the replay and it was amazing!!! Thank you for showing all the parts of crafting. The good, bad and ugly party fouls. It’s like hanging out with great friends and crafting the afternoon (or evening in my case) away with the added bonus of you sharing tips, tricks ideas and your wonderful crafty crew (family). Thank you for a great time!!!
I have been following your work and videos for about 8 years. I am and always have been so impressed by your work and style. Your instructions and demonstrations are the best in terms of the context of paper crafter, I personally have seen. Your sunny smile never fades and your daughter is precious as well. I am an artist and a paper crafter too. Laughter is the best medicine for what ails all of us, dad jokes work for me. I have the opposite view of jigsaw puzzles, they make me anxious, but I agree, they do have the let your conversation roll effect. I work with adults who have developmental disabilities and they love jigsaw puzzles too. Just yesterday one of my ladies came up simply delighted with herself for her jigsaw puzzle success, she had to tell me all about it. It's the simple things that make us go on. Be encouraged!
Loved your reaction to the water spill. You’re my hero! Wow these cards are just gorgeous. So many possibilities for our supplies. You rock! Laura PS: Leila’s card is gorgeous as well. ❤❤
Oh my gosh, Jennifer I am loving your lives!! Been a subscriber for years but loving the lives. I’ve watched a few team ones (Krista,Cathy &Gina) but I really love just hanging and crafting together 😊 I also love seeing you craft, we never see that. Hello cute Lyla and shy Mike. This is absolutely your calling. Your excitement, energy when crafting and bravery for trying things on a LIVE? QUEEN haha Lastly, Kristina W with the, “would you rather?” Hilarious!!!! Love it. post more, please!! No pressure 😅❤😊
Jennifer, I could never get in front of a camera, introverted and perfectly content. However, each time you do a live, you appear more and more comfortable. Your daughter is precious, your brother sounds like my brother ( can do anything and is also shy), and my husband plays golf several times a week. Enjoyed your crafternoon, learned so much, many thanks. Continued blessings to your family.
While watching you feeds my habit 😂, I would find other ways any way. I do appreciate that you give us the opportunity to see things used before we make a decision to buy. And Ido think you have a great balance of showing of new things while giving alternatives which require no added expenditure. Thank you for doing what you do. Kind regards from Germany, Nicola
Love this whole video. So great to see you, Lila, and Mike! Thank you for sharing of yourself like this. You're a wonderful human and you share your joy, which makes us all the better for it. It really was like hanging out with a friend while crafting. I don't have crafty friends locally anymore and I miss it.
🤣🤣🤣oh Jennifer I love you!! These are the very best kind of lives!! Makes us all feel so much better. You are a brilliant mind and crafter but it is just so fun to see you are such a kindred spirit in life. It’s like we are all there with you and just having a fabulous fun time together. I’m so happy you are doing this❤️👍
It was fun to listen and watch your mind operate, Jennifer. Thank you for spending part of your day with us. What a lrofessional looking card, Lila! Thank you not so crafty Mike for helping with the Live today! I've been up since midnight with insomnia so I and one of our kitties watched the whole show. PS Thank you for sharing about the Impress Nails. I ordered a bunch and am so pleased with how beautiful they are and easy to use. ❤
This was so, soooooo much fun. I regret not being able to watch it live... but it was definitely worth the wait. You're so generous with your time and knowledge. You really are a wonderful teacher and your Lila can truly be anything she wants... what a sweetie!
I love watching you live, even on the replay (my cold-ridden self had to poop out on you yesterday, sorry)!Love the „professional“ edited videos, too but to see your joy playing with your stuff, trying things out, your excitement when something new works out - that is so special, so joyous! No one cares for a little spilled water or misplaced items or smudy bits and pieces! If anything that makes us feel less inadequate ourselves! You are the GOAT, you are a star and you are a wonderful human being!
This was a great video…learned lots of great and helpful tips…guess better press is on my list…your daughter is such a sweetheart and so talented like her Mama… can’t wait to see you two create side by side. Her Card was just beautiful…thanks for a fun time. Glad the water spill didn’t ruin your projects. These spellbinders sets are gorgeous 🩷🩷🩷
I truly enjoyed this video. The casual nature of this video brightened my day especially with me down in bed for the last month, now it turned into pneumonia. It now has been 8 months since I last was able to craft because of health issues. Your videos pre-recorded and lives have really helped keep me sane. . As well as Lila needing a mic and camera corner, Mike needs at least a mic.....lol. Maybe a camera later ...ease into it. Thank you , Thank you, Thank you ! for making these videos even with your anxiety. You are killing it even with anxiety. We love you sharing the journey.
I absolutely love your lives. I actually managed to catch my first one fully last night. I love how much you interact with as many people as you can. You may feel anxious doing them but believe me you were made for them. ❤❤
I missed you live but I thoroughly enjoyed watching the replay! So much fun! Loved watching you craft and getting to see the “oops” too. Big thanks to @Not So Crafty Mike and @BreeAnn Loveland for all of their help! BreeAnn is so fast finding links to answer questions and so sweet too. You are blessed to have her (but I’m sure you know that already😉). Thanks for sharing your afternoon with us! Sending big hugs 🤗 from Texas!
I have got this live playing while I’m crafting and I’m loving it. A little bit of chaotic and relaxed Sunday afternoon crafting with hundreds (thousands?) of friends. I like watching you craft and give out little tips as you’re making, as well as hearing you so generously answer all the questions. You are so gracious with your audience. Jump around from topic to topic, it’s pretty realistic for a crafternoon, right? But also, continue to take the time you need to find balance in your life 💕
I’ve had a lovely afternoon watching your live replay, being in New Zealand I don’t usually manage to capture lives. I have the day off to craft but a sore neck thwarted that. You and Lila, Mike and Kristina were definitely a fabulous alternative. As for the water episode - too much fun! I recently threw a huge jar of paint dirty water on the seat of my padded craft chair. I wasn’t quite as composed. 😂
Hi Jennifer and Lyla, I love this style of live video. I feel comfortable to craft along, it inspires me to join you. Thanks, you’re awesome. I love puzzles 🧩 too! 🎉😊
I😢actually cried when Christopher was telling about his S.O. passing away. I could feel his pain. You are sweet to support him by wearing his T-shirt. I think I need to get one! The quote is profound. Since my husband died, the crafting community has become my family, the only one I have. I am older and have health issues. Making cards and watching my friends videos help me so much with the anxiety of living. Loving all your LIVES and want to say hello to Lila and Mike. 🎉
I’m so sorry I missed the live. Our church had a fellowship luncheon after service and then we deliver bread to a mission. I’m making some Valentine’s day cards and watching the reply. Thanks for all you do.
Thank you for this video! I am going to try cutting into my magnetic mat on my Empress to see if I can keep my plates from warping. I'm willing to try anything. I already do your rotation method, at least I think I do, but maybe this will make a difference for me.
The DJECO puzzles do not have a million pieces but the pieces are odd shaped and the art work is amazing, so they are still a challenge and a lot of fun. Give them a try!
Someone asked Jennifer the question about “how do you get all the tiny pieces out of your stitching dies”. Here’s what I do. Immediately after cutting the die cut, leave it in the die and place a folded dryer sheet on top of the paper and run all three things back through your die cutting machine. When you remove the dryer sheet, it pulls all of the tiny pieces out and they adhere to the dryer sheet. You’ll be AMAZED!
Hey Jennifer! Will you let us know in advance when you do these type of videos? Great idea. I live in alone and craft alone so this type of live video would be wonderful
I’d give up the MISTI then have someone make me a custom stamp positioner! Or go with another brand. To show the betterpress detail you need directional light. Try a flashlight on the low setting shining in from one corner. Next time you use dies with the registration sheet, try removing a shim to help with the over stamping.
Enjoyed your demo! I'm not an instruction reader either until, like you, I can't figure it out! For the most part I like my The Works but haven't figured out why they would make it so the blade slides right off (have had it get lost twice). I have put a little piece of tape at each end but wish I had a better solution.
I wish you could get the ethnic stitches of Embroidery on cards, we have such beautiful stitches like Sindhi and Balochi Tanka , tanka meaning stitch. They unique.
Too bad I seem to always miss these lives ... anyway, Awesome Card Lila!! ♥ Neat that you can emboss with the betterpress plates!! I had a question! Will flock stick to VersaMark ink? Or should I just use glue or tape?
Jennifer, I always try to be positive with my comments, but I guess today's video was just not my cup of tea. I am going to have to stick to your more planned out tutorials. I always love them and feel like even as a long-time stamper, I learn something and enjoy your videos. This was very hard to write because I appreciate your talent and creativity so much. Just wanted to be honest.
Can you tell me if it’s true that you can use a big shot die cutter with the better press? I bought the better press system and several plates and am so disappointed. I don’t know if it’s me and I was expecting more or if my big shot doesn’t work with Better press. To me it looks no,different than a stamped image . I don’t see any debossing or maybe just a slight bit. Just wondered if you knew anyone that used a different machine with the better press than the spellbinders.

A nice long casual couple hours “crafternoon” with you is a great way to spend Sunday afternoons!

You’re the best GOAT. I really enjoy your live videos. ❤
We could spend all day with you! Thank you for the gift of your time!
So happy to watch this. Jen & Lila are incredibly talented and kind.❤
So much fun! Can’t wait till the next one!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I watched the replay over time and enjoyed the live crafting, demos and Q&As. Happy to try and join a live sometime! Thanks for all you share.
Hi Jennifer and Lyla, I love this style of live video. I feel comfortable to craft along, it inspires me to join you. Thanks, you’re awesome. I love puzzles 🧩 too! 🎉😊
Great card Lila! Purple is my favorite color 😊

OMG Jennifer never stop doing lives ! I love how your brain works , Lila is amazing 💖💖💖
I’m so sorry I missed the live. Our church had a fellowship luncheon after service and then we deliver bread to a mission. I’m making some Valentine’s day cards and watching the reply. Thanks for all you do.
The Tim Holtz snips are amazing!!!! And the big scissors too.
Mike is awesome! A unicorn wine cup. That’s perfect for you.
Hi from Denmark. Watching you on replay. Crafting with you as well! Thanks for a great chat/channel
I love seeing Lila in the background!
I like the foam pad generally… I have Concord & 9th, very pretty!
I couldn’t make the live but thoroughly enjoyed the replay. A great time spent.
Thank you for explaining the mats for the 3d embossing folder.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching today had to do it on replay as in Australia
Lilah might enjoy learning how to spin yarn, weave, and dye yarn. Our local museum taught/teaches how to spin, card and weave.
Your color choices are amazing!!!
Thank you for this video! I am going to try cutting into my magnetic mat on my Empress to see if I can keep my plates from warping. I'm willing to try anything. I already do your rotation method, at least I think I do, but maybe this will make a difference for me.

Someone asked Jennifer the question about “how do you get all the tiny pieces out of your stitching dies”. Here’s what I do. When you remove the dryer sheet, it pulls all of the tiny pieces out and they adhere to the dryer sheet. You’ll be AMAZED!
Love you!! Love Lila and Mike too. 😊
I'm just relaxing. I have some new dies that I am anxious to use tomorrow.
This video was fun to watch 🥰
Hey Jennifer! Will you let us know in advance when you do these type of videos? Great idea. I live in alone and craft alone so this type of live video would be wonderful
Well done Lila! I can't wait for you to have your mom to set up. your crafting camera.
Love this video Jennifer
Next time we need a camera to see what Lilah is doing! The card that she showed is beautiful ❤
Apple - tree: great crafters, kind humans!
I wish one of you experts would do a paper I could print on all the different inks and what they are for
I’d give up the MISTI then have someone make me a custom stamp positioner! Or go with another brand.

Glad to be hear….where did you get your plastic organizer that you showed us at the beginning. Thank you 😊

I love your Organizer thingy. May I ask woher you got that from and what ist is called?
I wish you could get the ethnic stitches of Embroidery on cards, we have such beautiful stitches like Sindhi and Balochi Tanka , tanka meaning stitch. They unique.
I have an illness that requires ongoing treatment. I find I go into a zen-like place when I do jigsaw puzzles. it really helps boredom and anxiety.and
Lyla is a doll. ❤
Too bad I seem to always miss these lives ... anyway, Awesome Card Lila!! ♥
Neat that you can emboss with the betterpress plates!!
I had a question! Will flock stick to VersaMark ink? Or should I just use glue or tape?
Like both Dies Stamps would not give up any things
My anxiety had been crazy lately as well!
She is so cute!
oh goodness I forgot about this!
You're great!
Hello Jennifer & family
You're daughter is so good like you!!!😊
where did you get your card stock holder behind you?
Amazing. I want a better press
Ours does too
Are all inks water reactive?
Thumbs up for lila
Jennifer, sorry I am late to the show, can you recommend a glass work surface?
On spellbiner cards can you do better press without the machine
Jennifer, I always try to be positive with my comments, but I guess today's video was just not my cup of tea. I am going to have to stick to your more planned out tutorials. Hi All!❤️❤️❤️
I’d give up dies as though I have lots I don’t use them much
What is your favorite weight of white card stock for your cards?
At least 110 lbs. when I can
@@jennifermcguireink Which brand & weight of watercolor paper do you recommend?
I like Tim Holtz's watercolor paper
@@jennifermcguireink Thank you, I am ordering it right now. Anxious to try the ink smushing
Q?what scissors to use that won’t stick foam strips and tear tape
You want some type of Teflon- coated scissors. Altenew has a small black set and Tim Holtz has a large and small set with red handles.
What paper do you use most often..weight
White is usually at least 110 lb but sometimes colored cardstock is 80
Definitely give up the stamp positioner.
From Plant City - watching gamr
Hi
She looks just like you. What a beauty.
Hello Jenifer McGuire
I do not like foam!
I'm not a big fan of the live videos. I prefer you teaching us in your own videos. Just my opinion.
