In my “analysis,” Ryan doesn't truly love Barbie. I think he only likes her for her appearance and fame. In the episode “Midge’s Makeover” we see that he cares more about appearance than about what's inside and we can see that he doesn't truly love Barbie because if he did he would accept that being with Ken makes her happier. Also, I would find it really annoying if one of my friends would constantly flirt with me knowing I'm in a relationship. But as a character, I find him funny and I like his character design
All things considered, Ryan is a pretty good brother to Raquelle actually. Surprisingly chill guy too. Also, is it just me that thinks Barbie has a way more interesting dynamic with Ryan AND Raquelle than with Ken? Which is funny considering that fact that Barbie and Ken were modeled after the creator's children from what I recall from a podcast.
