I happen to be learning these two preludes and also felt they were similar in some ways, so I really appreciate this video! Would love to see the reverse too. And any other prelude combos!
The time signature is giving hints to the tempo, you gotta slow it down until the bar has two accents. In the tempo of the video, each bar becomes a single impulse, which sounds very energetic, but is technically incorrect
@@rodnaskel2123 Play it by accenting every beat. It will end up sounding like 2/8, but nobody actually plays like this and instead accents different notes.
stoked! Very interesting...
Beautiful. You have an amazing minds ear to hear these musical possibilities.
this is really cool! an unlikely combo that works perfectly
hats off for you dude!
Brilliant. It's a stunning combo!
I did something very similar with Bach’s music. I combined the fugue subject from BWV 867 and turned it into a prelude in the style of 869
This is beyond cursed

Magic ..
This is sick
Beautiful!!
Great idea 😂😂
Et blanc Et Noir (partimento TH-camr) did the same thing, but he transposed the prelude into F minor
Cool idea.
Now it is so much harder
nice
This is amazing, but I kinda get why Chopin chose to use this repeated pattern on a shorter prelude than n. 8
Nice arrangement.
Why Chopin wrote a 2/8 time with triplets will always perplex me because it is basically impossible to hear it that way no matter how hard i try...
How is 2/8 with triplets supposed to sound?

Try Schumann op.12/1
It is a shadow
original composition when?
There’s already one on my channel - th-cam.com/video/L8zkQp4egp0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5Zr3CalpK8_pHaHE
This was amazing but from bar 49 it should be Eb minor not D# minor as Chopin wrote that part in Eb minor
