Never rely on ONLY Benchmarks and synthetic loads to test UV/OC settings, these kinds of loads will be stable at much lower power than actual games. For example my 7800XT and 7900XTX can pass Heaven and TimeSpy at 1060mV and the score will get higher and higher the lower mV you go, but as soon as you try an actual game e.g. Rainbow Six Siege you will crash straight away like in the menus or as soon as you start playing. In actual games you will need at least 1100mV to get stable performance with no crashes and that's if you get really lucky with silicone lottery. Try most if not all the games in your library and when you get zero crashes in all of those games then your settings are 100% stable. My Red Devil 7900XTX requires at least 1140mV with 3150MHz on Core and 2700MHz on VRAM with +15% Power Limit.
Stick with adrenalin software for overclocking/undervolting. Pretty sure msi afterburner isn't even updated nowadays. It doesn't even read the 9000 series cpus temps and other sensors.
Hi! I have the exact same GPU, and following your exact instructions, I can't change temp limit, or the top curve in the curve editor. Do you know why?
Ciao! What "safe" settings would you apply for a 7900 GRE? As you probably already know, the stock values are 2555MHz (for my hellhound) at 1050 mV. (2250 MHz for the VRAM) Also, thanks for all the videos, I find them quite informative! ;)
How would you try to param the card for the lowest TDP possible ? I know if looking for efficiency I should be looking at Nvidia but I just got an offer for a Nitro Vapor X for 630 bucks, I just can't pass by that. Undervolt as much as possible while keeping stock clock with a -10 Power Limit things like that ? I want to just unlock the card's power gradually depending on the perf I need and keep the beast on leash for now
I'm sometimes using ancients power save profile when i dont need max performance. Min 500mhz Max 2400mhz Power1120z-1130mv Memory 2714mhz normal timing Fans around 45% Max Power limit +15% Besides running cooler it will run around 360watts max instead of the Max 465 watts on nitro+ with minimal fps loss. And if want to nerf the card even more why even bother buying a 7900 xtx
@OhNopesYouDidnt why bother ? The answer in the message itself. I want to have a large performance range, I don't need it to draw 400w when playing games like BG3. A game library doesn't limit itself to one game.
@@ImWateringPSUs Wouldn't be easier to do it through AMD Adrenaline software? Also in previous video you mentioned that you have your card in quiet mode and still tuned it to get best performance... Can you tell me what setting (max mhz, voltage) do you have on yours? Thanks again my brother!
1050mv with a XTX is very unlikely to be stable in a wide range of games
True. Most cards only run stable at around 1090mV and above, which in reality results in about 840mV @2550MHz on the GPU core.
have my merc310 running at 1075

Molto bravo secondo me meriti molti piu iscritti!
Hello sir! Can you do a video for 7900 GRE overclock/undervolt? Thanks!
PLEASE🔥
thanks for the advice! any reason why you dont do this through adrenalin? i could not get mine stable in games below 1130mv through adrenalin
thank u for this vid 🎉 i learned alot !! didnt know how to under volt not gonna lie

Hello thank you so much for this video i have the same card and i have a trouble my gpu reach 110° hotspot
Hello,
Will there be an undervolt turtorial for the RX 7800 XT soon? I would be very grateful
This coil whine is killing me
I like your undervoltguides! I wush you could show gpu-z, afterburner overlay etc so people can see the actual powersaving and fps gain/loss? 😊

Why MSI burner and not AMDs?
I knew it this Video was a Banger 👏👏👏👏👏thank you
what optimal OC do you recommend for a 7900XTX XFX Merc 310 black series?

Hey bro, Please make a video On
How to know if your cpu is Thermal throttling?also do i need to thermal paste it or not
which better for 1080p gaming after tuning, taichi or vapor X, sir?
So in stock is using 375W and how much after your Undervolt ?
Beautiful card
Genuinely one of the best looking customs I've seen in real life

I'm the one thanking you for watching :)

Work on Rx 7800 xt?
Yessir, same procedure but on average you can get a lower clockspeed. Double check with my RX 7700 XT Undervolting guide :)
