It's so fun knowing every word said in this album and just trying to rap along while the music is blasting LOUD. Sounds amazing but it's also catchy as hell
Looking back at JID's discography, even though i dont like Kendrick comps from sound/style/music side, but in terms of album types/career trajectory it has similarities to Kenny. The Never Story Overly Dedicated - debut for JID, last mixtape for KDot, but similar in terms of their forming DiCaprio 2 Section.80 - feels like a mixtape more than cohesive album, arguably best technical rapping in first 3 albums, but still albums without a clear direction The Forever Story good kid, m.A.A.d City - the first complete album, the first culmination of them as artists put into a holistic entity that connects with each other and main theme. I dont think the album with Metro will be JIDs TPAB stylistically, but i think JID has in him an album that will transcend a generation and be timeless with it not being focused on the past of each of them like TFS and GKMC were respectively.

Jid one of the few rappers I have trouble with rapping his song because his flow is so unorthodox. It's hard to rap some of his songs lol
